Don't get me wrong, I'm still going to goto ADam, but that'll have to wait a few more years. It was $500 more than a trip to jamaica. And my wife will goto jamaica with me. She won't do the ADam thing. Doesn't want her parents to freak out when we ask them to watch the boy. Doesn't want to fly over the ocean with possilble terrorists. Thinks that the whole sex thing in ADam is just the devil... I could go on forever, she just don't wanna do it. I just want a nice cheap vacation where we can go hang out in the local places, get baked and have a blast.

Anyone ever heard of "Magic Mushroom Tea at Ted's" There was a picture in high times a few years back. Guy said he bough enough for the stay and then went to Ted's for magic mushroom tea. Had a picture of Ted's and another picture of him and the dope man. Had a whole plant! But that and your stories are really tempting me to go!

I remember a Mrs. Browns resteraunt, or something like that, up in thehills that had the mushroom tea, that was featured in high times a long time ago.......

Depends on where you want to stay and what type of stay you get. Some do all inclusive with meals and drinks included. Some prefer to go out to local joints to eat. If going with a girl and you want to impress her or show her a good time do all inclusive. But if just going to smoke and hang out then dont. Im not much of a drinker so all inclusive is a waste for me. a 6 pack of red stripe lasts me a week.

Herb: you can get a pound in Negril from a farm for $150 . Or you can get an oz or 2 from a local dealer for $20-$80 , depends on how well you negotiate.

Food: For just yourself you can go $50 a day or less on food easy. Can get a huge breakfast for $3-$5 with banana pancakes , eggs, bacon OJ and a dumplin. For lunch you can get Jerk chicken or some fish with a side for maybe $5-7. For dinner you can get a lobster dinner with a side for less than $10 . Get some munchies at a store for your room and your set

Booze: you can get a red stripe for a buck and some nights at bars alot less. Rum is good and everywhere. I dont drink much so i cant tell you how much to get drunk a day

Hotel: you can get a pentouse in Blue cave castle in Negril with the best view in Negril ( highest point there overlooking the ocean) for $100 a night. Pretty cheap and the place is great. All inclusives range around $200-$400 a night depending on the level of service you request . You can get butler service at sandals for $3100 for a week. its up to you.



You can go there cheap and have a blast or you can go there and spend alot and still have a blast. I have found the best times were staying at smaller local places like Blue cave as opposed to larger resorts. you get to go out and eat local food and get better herb

about kno anything bout canada or the bahamas? i kno miami is a pretty cool city, u can get away with alot there for bein in the us. its common 2c ppl walkin miami beach smokin with no hassle. but the price for good weed there is outrageous! 80 for an 1/8th

Hello all,

I can say that of the 4 times I have been there, the weed has been excellent to shitty. Just shop around- don't insult there weed and say you will be back and look around- they will find you don't worry.

Although the last time I was there- I was accosted by no less then 10 men wearing Bob Marley beanies all carrying sacks of not very good bud. I was indeed insulted that they would persist in telling me that thiers is the best. It was schwag- poorly grown and some not even manicured.

Its everywhere.

Also, the rum is good as well. And the Red Strip its a good beer. Considering that the island is poor they make good beer and rum.

Also- don't buy a conch shell - you may think you are buying a souvenir but in fact you are buy the garbage of last nights dinner. Thats right, they eat conch and throw away the shell...but not very bright tourists (looking around stupidly) buy them and take them home.

The quality of herb there is from great to crap. You can find some great herb for $20 an oz and you can find shtty herb for $100 an oz. You have to look around , negotiate and be able to say No if it dont look right or costs to much. I have grown for years and am picky about smoking herb i havent grown so i shop around alo tand am picky with herb in Ja. You can find really nice organic sativas down there. they have this one herb there that just makes you slow. An Indica dom strain i got one time made you lazy and happy. You can find it all

also good thing about cheap weed in jamaica is if you bring a screen you can make a shit load of keif or even bubble hash. Like gypsy in his mag! Gotta love the sunsets smoking on the beach

Canada is great and Vancouver in general can be a good pot vacation. Very easy to score and some great quality. There a a few places that let you smoke your weed and that makes it easy to meet people and hook up. Beyond the pot fantastic city. Just depends on what you want in a trip. They even have some bed/breakfast type places that are very pot friendly and advertise as such. Depending where you live a plane ticket can be very cheap.

Nevermind..I've been researching the Blue Cave...beside the honeymoon suite which rooms are best? The suite is sold out til April...the towers?
None of them look bad..but some don't have AC.I'm assuming the tradewinds are blowing at night? I like to be cool when I sleep.Must be NE genes..lol.thx for help

nothing but nice to say about them... altho youd be hard pressed to find a b&b or resort that would get pissed with you smoking on the porch [rem that in BC the anti smoking indoors laws have been in effect nearly a decade]

vangroovey has some [now famous] smoke friendly places but is a big city like any other.
i suggest finding one of the hippie capitals like Nelson or Tofino. big trees and mountains and lakes and rivers and hotsprings and bears oh my!
just about any raggedy kid will be able to find you an ounce of in or out-door if you give im some. about the same price as a dutch friend would give you but in can dollars so 2/3 the cost.. not cheap like jamaica but no seeds neither.. indoor is always top notch but out varies with the season obviously.. if you go in november you can get an oz for 40pound sterling and it will be excellent but by march its just rubble leftovers.. indoor, centerfold grade will be double that but all year. most locals prefer the lower branch stuff as the stem is thinner and no light burn

re: shanghai: the 'friesland' strain is there too.. call it 'pineberry'.. its tasty but not as strong as some others..

BC is for the adventurous.. you can do it really cheap aand fun by camping out.. find a lake, pitch a tent and puff tuff to your hearts content..
or rent a swank chalet in whistler where [like the vegas comment] so long as you have money to spend you can hotbox the jacuzzi and noone will give you grief [altho we got a 40buck cleaning bill once]

the capital city of victoria has about 6 hemp shops plus a few head shops.. its also the center for medical pot so the local fuzz are not too concerned.. vancouvers got at least a dozen head shops and even more hemp.. however the hemp bc crowd is pinched between junkie central and the business district.. ive never been suprised at the amount of police brutality theyve had to endure. commercial drive [not sure if bubblemans shop is still there] is a hotspot.. hippies, hemp shops, cactus/salvia/smartshops, veggie restos, nice cafes... kitselano is more uni kids and yuppies but has a wicked outdoor pool right next to the sea, and miles and miles of waterfront walkway round to wreck beach nudists .. famous for where 'watermelon' was busted for selling pot cookies nekkid

I was born in Kingston, Jamaica. I lived there for bout 10 years. Nevermind is right, not a friendly tourists attraction. Lots of bloodshed there. I have a Aunt dat lives in Negril, very nice island, people are very nice and excepting. But like Nevermind says you cant go out wit 700 bucks and a rolex on ur wrist. We Jamaicans can smell money! haha. Anywayz I would recommend Jamaica 100%, Very beautiful country and very nice people. More nice than bad. There is so many kinds of buds there too. Also weed is not 100% legal there, there are many roadblocks and if you are a tourist there and you have a large amount on you they will give you a hard time, maybe detain you.
Just stay away from Kingston is my advice. Montego Bay, and Negril are very tourist, and smoker friendly. Oh and dont go durin Hurricane season, you will be in for a wild ride if you decide to go then. haha Have fun where you decide to go mon! Respect!

If you are in Holland (= Netherlands) and you are then probably in Amsterdam...
And you want to get out of the tourist rush for a day then get yourself on a train to Hempcity Haarlem (15 minutes by train from Amsterdam CS). (approx 4€ return ticket).
Haarlem has 16 coffeeshops wich are quite different in nature from the Amsterdam Shops...
Ofcourse there are very good shops in Amsterdam but in my opinion Haarlem offers the smoker a much more relaxed atmosphere...

You can get busted in Vegas. They are pretty lax but make no mistake you can get busted there. They have decriminalized it greatly which helps but I'd take every precaution still. I visit a couple friends regularly and had family there for some time.
The gambling and hookers part is almost correct.. you just gotta be outside city limits for the hooker part. They'll bust hookers w/in city limits if they see them. I do however like being able to walk down the street w/an open container. At first that was fun getting used to. I'd almost make it out of a casino and just stop at the exit w/my drink like it was an invisible wall haha, then realize it was ok and continue.
Anyways, just watch yourself in Vegas plz

HAHA i concur with the invisible wall.... first few days of freedom being 21.... i would jus kill my drink at the door before headin out.... then security came up and told me "u know its ok for u to bring that outside" after that the whole trip was a blur
