Best advice I can give you on using CNS17 in Coco coir is to run your pH low...like in the 5.5 - 5.7 range. I had constant issues with Mg lockout and deficiencies, and have learned why after some reading, studying, and reflecting on my own problems. Ca and Mg are both immobile so they are stored in the medium....the Ca buildup can lockout Mg if the pH is less favorable for Ca uptake.....Ca will take up more "slots"....CNS17 has a much higher Ca content than PBP....adding Cal/Mag+ to CNS17 with pH around 6.2 exacerbated the problem.slips said:Got some cn17 for the coco plants.
