Fuckn epic. Just had a right result- about 2 years ago I put the cd of our wedding pics in my MacBook, and the damn thing turned off and wouldn't turn back on. I was told the power board was fucked so not worth trying with it.
I took the back off and got the cd out, but laptop still fucked.
About an hour ago , I was on a tech forum (as I spotted the offending computer in the cupboard ) and some genius told me to take out the battery, press the power button for 5 seconds then try again.
Presto.
I got me MacBook back

I was lucky... The MacBook was from my sister who got a new one from work just after the hard drive was replaced in this one .... Sweet. Just updated all the software n connected all the wifi up... Also has a lot of pics on from the wedding and when Mrs b was pregnant... Last time it was working my baby girl was only a bump.
Time flies that's for sure.

The garden is near enough all dug over and amended, peas going in fri so all is well in the brunch patch - still waiting on the seeds though I shut the chickens out of the veg patch, off limits till September ish - they will make up for it clearing the leftovers for winter.

I think so .. They all had heads missing and one was ripped open. I was told that they usually kill them all to keep em quiet - that's what confused me

I just saw an odd looking shooting star ( I think) .... I thought "fuckn hell, that's a bright star " and it seemed to kind of fall down and away, if that makes sense- only other ones I've seen went across the sky, this one didn't

Definitely the same colour light as a star- if you can imagine looking at a star, it getting brighter, then 'dropping ' and receding away from your viewpoint... All in a second or two

nah man... its got multiple speeds... It uses a magnetoplasma propulsion engine... there are tons of "ufo" vids on youtube that are actually just the aurora tr3-b

much like the sr-71, we wont see it publicly unveiled till its obsolete...

Got to get rid of the chickens.
Gutted.
They been there 2years now , and 2 days ago a nosy fuckin neighbour decides to call the council and tell them we are keeping chickens- so I get a visit from a twat in a suit, telling me I can either completely move the run , make a new concrete hard stand , clear out the coop and run EVERY DAY (and I use the deep litter method) and get checkable pest inspection every 6months - or get rid.
Guess I'll have to explain to the kids now why their lil chicks have gone away.
All because some nosy bastard has to interfere.
