Hey sgt stedanko, great minds think alike! I wasn't sure where to put it because I wanted to attract all the growers with the finest buds. I guess toker's den would have been more appropriate.

For the big pics you can just click "go advanced" when replying, then click the photo you want to add. When it puts the text in the box for the photo it will say "-thumb.jpg" at the end of the picture name. Remove only the "-thumb" part and it will be big.

May I participate? I sampled a nice ECSD bud at 4 days drying with dehumid. Still a lil wet but got me BAKED not to keep off the rest until its actually done and cured...

I always love seeing a bowl of white ash when we're done smoking, and I've told my friends about it, they just don't seem to care that much. I was so happy when I saw the first bowl of my bagseed grow burned down to a nice little white pile, made me feel like through all the mistakes I made, I still got a great product.

Hey bounty29! I agree totally. That's why I started this thread. It's obvious there are some like minded people out there.

This thread is just in appreciation of fine herbs. We've seen pictures from seed to harvest, but not the FINAL product. A big bowl of white ash is a picture of a good time gone by. What's better than that?

I think I'll smoke a bong today and do a white ash pic of that.

I'd like to see bone dry bud that doesn't burn white. I believe this "burn white" thing a myth. It's MY THEORY, so don't flame or hate..participate.

I just have seen way too many unflushed buds burn black when wet and flushed buds burn black when wet (I mean like 30% moiusture) but ANY bud that is bone dry will burn white.

I doubt a leaf would burn different when bone dry just because some extra nutes were in the soil..

Ahh...I have to agree Jack, I don't know about the flushing bit, but I do know I've seen plenty of shitty bud burn up and leave black residue. Black, clumpy, gunky residue that quickly gobs up a bowl. Even some of the so-called high grade commercial around here does. I do know that properly grown, dried, and most importantly un-adultered cannabis burns up to a beautiful white ash. I also know that my chemical hydro buds burn smooth and clean as you can get. I doubt many would be able to tell the difference between this and organic if I didn't tell em.

Regardless of the cause, with all the fine herb around here there should be plenty of pillowy white ash shots to go with it!

Hey Sgt. Stedanko. I do keep the bowl pretty clean, the inside gets cleaned less frequent because it's a pain...Wouldn't you know it's just a cheap piece of glass? $10-30 at a local convenience store. Not to stereotype or say anything derogatory or racist, but around here the one's known as "Habib stores" carry these for cheap, and since I have a habit of breaking glass they're great for me.

I rubbed the glass clean around the bowl area for that shot. I wanted to do a shot with good composition, clean looking glass, and make something inspirational for others who might see the fun in participating.

I figure plenty of people can get quite creative with their shots. The trick I use is to put one little nug in the bowl and burn it all the way up. I try not to touch or disturb it so that the structure remains for the most part.

I love when you burn a bowl all the way down without touching it at all, burning it until it's all white and then you can still see the plant veins and like small burned calyxs. Lol, intense! Check it out, I've got some hash that burned to white ash

this thread took off pretty well! im lovin it, ill have to get some ash pictures up of this hindu kush iv been puffin, its pretty nice but doesnt burn down completely white, guess it wasnt flushed for long enough but its tasty.

Keep your smoke green, your trichomes golden, and your ash white. o yeah and smoking out of a completely clean piece makes a big difference as well.
