As far as him being in a "warzone" he's not. he's admin and is in Italy, and far from faithful himself (not trying to justify anything, like i said what's done is done, i'm over it).

MT and JJ I take as a hobby, not to whoop someones ass. My other training far exceeds the effectiveness of MT and JJ which are geared more as a sport rather than combat. I'm far more grounded these days though, and I actually do everything I can to NOT get into fights, as opposed to the good ol days where team members and i would go out to bars for "training exercises". Stupid stuff, unfortunately fully supported and encouraged by our CO.
