Wow...Bitcoin just shot pass the $5000 mark around $5300.
UAL (United Airlines) Had that Fiasco back awhile then and it seems they recovered a bit then the CEO leaves without an 2018 plan hence the big Drop today at $59.78 (-$8.21)...
$40.00 would be a Strong resistance level if it ever went there.

Also there are simple historical trends such as "reversion to mean".
A fancy way of saying, the market is now pricing stocks at about double what it would normally price them, based on earnings.
I've stopped buying stuff from Amazon. They tried to auto-enroll me in Prime - i.e. they created a financial contract in my name without my permission.

Found recently...
18 Light Coins, packed away when they were worth $16 ($0.50/each). Exchanged for a total of around $1,100 last week. Miniature stream of btc from lifetime contract at Genesis-Mining... accumulated $100 in btc the last year. .49 DASH, at $264 each. Quit mining dash, because it took a week to mine that .49 and it was worth about $3 at the time. lol
All of it couldn't have come at a better time. lol

What is the safest way to buy e- currency and how to sell it? I sat on buying the ANT coin and watched it go up 300x in six months. If I were sure of security of buying and selling I will try a good one in the pennys range and hope for a ramp up like happens with a few.

Personally, I'd look at it more of a long term investment. Here in the USA, I get an overdraft fee from my bank, every 10 days I'm negative fundage. Can you hold out long enough for BTC to recover? I remember attempting to talk someone out of mortgaging their house a few years ago (not to buy btc, but to buy into an iffy investment. They would have lost everything)... I sometimes wonder if I succeeded.
Buy it, hold it. HERO, BitShares (excellent decentralized trading platform and coin), LTC, BTC (of course), ZEC (I'm mining mine on Genesis-Mining with a 2yr contract), ETH and possibly DASH. I'm betting a bit on ZEC doing well, as it's the first coin capable of truly anonymous, trust-less transactions. We'll see.

so depressed I sold my bitcoins last year at 400 bucks each, literally like fucking suicidal depressed watching these prices. Last week it was 7k Canadian now its over 9k Canadian 7kusd... I had 200 of the things
So hard not to think about the what ifs... I bet theres tons of people in my shoes but I also know tons of people are getting rich right now.
I remember saying it was stupid for me to buy in again at 2k each... FML

Don't feel bad, happens to all of us at one time or another. I just heard yesterday that one of the original founders of Apple, had a 10% stake in the company. Sold his stocks 2 weeks after getting them for $800 bucks. They said it would be worth about $78 Billion now. Bet that story makes you feel a little better.
