Why is it wrong to wear shorts?
un-proffesional . sending home offence. not only do they look unprofessional , it means he can't carry tools with him, and risks cutting his knees open, and he looks like a student or somebody going on holiday , and most importantly public response , and potential work. if he looks the way he does . nobody would ever approach him to enquire regarding work .

comes with experience

back in my 20s, i would have a can of beer in one hand and a joint in the other

Shorts should not be in the workplace unless you are female.

I used to work with a fella who cycled to work wearing tight lycra shorts, then wore them all day.

He was extremely tall and had a convexly arched back.

After the many complaints It wasn't long before his shorts were banned.
