Why is it wrong to wear shorts?
un-proffesional . sending home offence. not only do they look unprofessional , it means he can't carry tools with him, and risks cutting his knees open, and he looks like a student or somebody going on holiday , and most importantly public response , and potential work. if he looks the way he does . nobody would ever approach him to enquire regarding work .

comes with experience

back in my 20s, i would have a can of beer in one hand and a joint in the other

up and down stairs asking me to borrow tools, when if he had his overalls on, he could carry his own tools around with him

Shorts should not be in the workplace unless you are female.

I used to work with a fella who cycled to work wearing tight lycra shorts, then wore them all day.

He was extremely tall and had a convexly arched back.

After the many complaints It wasn't long before his shorts were banned.
