full leather clarks, retro style i think is a safe bet. if they smell suspect shelve them. pure leather . when i was a kid a good sign of a football boot was one that i could bend both ways without any folds, tears or bends. pick up a shoe and rag it both directions and see how it handles the stress

More budget for marketing, less for manufacturing and materials..

the wallabees look good though, cant do much wrong, natural rubber crepe soles, leather lining and upper material, maybe they use cheaper insole materials like everybody does now, but still, not much room to fuck it up.

always liked the converse all stars, but theyve gotten too expensive, right now i'm wearing the shit out of a pair of light brown suede lace up vans, never like to pay more than 50€ for a pair of shoes.
