Being a hydro noob, I'm happy with the results.
We'll see if I can keep it going for another 2 months.

Last day of Veg

I've decided today is the last day of veg. The growth in hydro is amazing and I dont want to overgrow the cab.
Tonight she'll get a good 14 hours of sleep before starting her on 12/12. I have 13 developed growth tips and will probably get plenty during the stretch.
Now the long wait.
I'm thinking about running one 6,500k bulb in the rear and one 3,000k bulb in the front during flower to see if there is any difference in bud development front to back. Probably wont amount to squat, but what the hell. Not like I'm gonna kill it.

Nice to have the hardware to test optimal conditions. I don't blame you for flowering. The way that plants growing it'll bust the box pretty soon. Keep up the good work.

She's drinking like a fish, so I think with the addbacks since last res change, I'll need to do a res change later this week. I plan on upping the nute concentration to 1.2 EC and probably topping out at 1.4-1.5 during flower, depending on how she handles the stronger nutes. The roots look great with no signs of RR. They are a tangled mess, though.

im seriously jealous of those roots. looks like your insulation has kept rot firmly out of the equation. Over all id say your hitting a home run with the dro your first time around. not bad for a hydro noob ).

I cant take photos tonight. House guests.
The revolution will have to wait.
Dumped, cleaned and refilled the res yesterday. Brought the EC up to 1120uS and started pH at 5.65. The pH creeped to 5.8 by this morning.
Did some more training trying to level and spread the canopy.
Last I looked, 5-6 tips were popping through the screen.

Edit. Forgot I took this one last night. The yellow leaves are just the HID playing tricks on the camera. Shows how much better the hps penetrates, even though it's 7" higher than the fluoros.

Awesome setup man! I wish I was a handyman so I could build awesome shit and save $$$, and at the end of the day look back and smile at what you've done. Oh well, it's still awesome being able to follow grows like this! I'll be watching! Stay safe.
