Selling back to clubs?

Thanks SCF!

When electricity is free, nutes of choice are free, and there's no need to worry about paying the rent, car payments, health insurance, or buying groceries I will be happy to donate without need for reimbursement from the highest bidder. And living in a box down by the river isn't quite good enough for me and my family... so until I can have my family as well cared for as I take care of them now, and the threat of doing time no longer hangs over my head, we just have to deal with the situation as it is.

Mr.Red whats wrong with keeping things from being resold on the street? Why don't you just exchange cannabis for oxycotin or whatever pharmecuetical cocktail you want in that equation and think about what you are asking.

all you haters better get over yourselves and recognize

or just grow mo' better buds... if you can

*crappy buds is more than partly why things are the way they are... shity growers trying to pass their shitty little seed or mislabeled clone grows as med grade when they are really pumping out garbage.

no shit

Bluedot, if it makes you feel any better, the dispensary I sold my extra medicine to doesn't mark anything up 30%.

30% to pay all there employees, bills, etc.

Sounds fair to me.

Timing is a big part too.
Don't expect to get 3500. a pound for your outdoor buds in November.

Everybody who has a few extra pounds of outdoor at harvest time, brings it to the the clubs Oct Nov Dec. Supply is High demand is low; and even if it gets you wasted, you won't get much if it isn't pretty with major bag appeal !

Hey Doc Leaf, you speak of "cannabis culture" (esp with regard to Cali) as if you know anything about it. It was always about money and never about medicine. You think you have a clue what it was like back then? Do you think the late sixties and seventies scene in Cali was all peace and love and free dope? It most definitely was not.

Way back even before the Cali MJ scene started, we got our grass from Mexico, Central America. The agrarian populations of those nations were busting their asses in the hot sun for $$$. You see it has always been about money. MJ is a crop.

ON what then can you base your ideals if not on Cali? Surely not on English traditions. I have spent much time in the UK over the years. Not that long ago it was tremendously difficult to get cannabis at all; mostly you could only get hash and even then you twits rolled it up with tobacco. That's your cannabis culture: Smoke some shitty hash in a Player's and off to the pub for a pint (so you could actually get high).

Nobody was giving it away that's for sure.

By the way, your criticisms of USA as Nazi-like are ironic are they not in that they reference a European tyranny?

It's all very easy for you over in Europe to be glib and self satisfied with your postage stamp sized nations and your monocultures. You don't have the same challenges the US faces, not even close. But don't forget that the US is populated primarily with Europeans - your culture, you know the one that conquered and tyrannized the entire Earth for almost half a millennium. More irony - Mr Leaf you rule in that respect!

Alright I've ranted....

All marijuana use is medical; even recreational.
It's always been medicine..............
nature's best..........

I've just found out that a club in the East Bay calls vending (selling to the clubs) "care providing."

I'm not sure why we have to translate everything in the language of compassion and care. It's just another PR stunt to "gussy up" what is actually happening: the buying and selling of cannabis to "patients," to people whom may or may not need cannabis for a legitimate medical purpose.

While I certainly agree that there are patients who actually need cannabis as a medical ailment, I question the medical cannabis movement masquerading something people buy for recreation as "medicine."

I have come to realize that if clubs were truly compassionate and caring, they would not be charging ridiculous prices. Why would I go to a club if black-market cannabis is of a higher quality and a lower price?

1 of the major reasons i'd never move to CA is because of the price of shit/cost of living so i dont think people shouldnt really be bitching about prices, its like moving to alaska and complaining about the cold

Lol, I am a native and I bitch about the cost of living. It's ridiculous! I know what you are saying, though :joint:

What do the clubs in the east bay give farmers for an elbow of the fire? It seems that the prices around here the clubs are doubling what each eighth costs them. I understand operating costs are high but seriously seems like too much of a markup.

Almost every retail non-perishable finished goods seller you can imagine works on wholesale prices being 40-60% of retail, i.e. a markup of 100%. Sporting goods, clothes, whatever. It is considered normal markup for goods in most businesses, so while you THINK it is too much markup, it is in fact the norm.

Truth.

Jewelry stores are a 700% markup. Hell, Microsoft makes an 80% profit on sales of office.

I would say at the moment

low - 2-2.5k
mids - 2.5k-3.0k (nobody wants to pay the worth of mids sadly, eighths that sell for 40-45)
quality ($50~+ eighths) - 3.0k-3.6k
absolute fire ($60~+ eighths) - 3.6k-4.1k
this is from inside experience on the dispensary side and is pretty realistic from what i've seen many many vendors ask for initially and what they end up getting.

Dude,, California is NOT the center of cannabis culture... Cannabis is native to Asia!!

Our observations are based on the work of global medi. activists including GrowDoc (USA/Europe) ,, Todd McCormick (USA) ,,,

Marco Renda (Canada) : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0S_Ut35x-zw

Wernard Bruining (Holland) : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-E5w5boFDiY

Sarah Martin (UK) : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m9B8e_ByoCY

As you can see ,,, "Medi. Marijuana" is a global phenomena ,, only we call it "Medi. Weed" over here.

Plenty people manage to give away Medi. Weed for FREE :canabis:

Peace out... :joint:

Hehe mrred.. perhaps the Manali valley instead :canabis:

Btw,, i n i nah hating on Cali. ,, just emphasising the fact that their are medi. community members all over the world. And perhaps that Positronics was the first cash-free clone-club (in EU if not the world) :canabis:

To be honest its the 'selling back' part that confuses us most.

Selling to clubs we understand,, but "selling back",, what exactly does that mean?

This mirrors my experience as well. LA prices are a couple hundred higher.
