What's up homie? Got those ladies at day 15.. They are looking great man, super stoked on em. I did tie some of the branches to the trellis. Some branches didn't need it, some were way too heavy and floppy to not tie em up. Hope that helps..

Awesome grow man ! Especially the pictures you shot are pretty nice.

I wonder if it would be helpful to get the plants closer to the lamps + more of them but smaller ones... ? Maybe a problem of heat and watering.
Well and ofc some high yield sorts will definitly give ur yield a boost !

Hey FOX.. Yeah I would like to have had more plants but it's a medical grow and I have strict guidelines that have to be followed. As far as the plants being closer to the lamps.. Ehh.. They were pretty close... I think they were about 11 inches from the bulb at the closest and maxed out about two feet from the bulb in the very corners.

I have been a lurker for a long time and recent member and this is a VERY impressive project you put together vert is crushing the game! So simple and yet massively effective from all angles. Move that filter as was stated but Im sure you have your plans, obviously.
Great build and enough flattery but damn! thats inspirational stuff. That OG is a lanky lady, runnin her now.

Yeah the filter is going to stay becasue I can't add any more plants. Again, yes, you could make it work a little better with 3 full walls or even 3 and a half, but it worked great in this configuration imo. Thanks for stopping by mang

I love kromes white. Simply put it is one of the top 3 plants I've ever grown. It has it all except a huge yield, but I've found its not as low yielding as a lot of people claim. I think I smacked right around 5ozs out of a 5 gallon and a 2.5 foot bush with her. Plus she is very strong.

I see a lot of people take her around day 50-55.. That's too early imo. It definitely looks done at that point, but if you can wait an extra week it is mind numbing.

I'm gonna hit this bitch with pollen from multiple males from my seed run, everything I've seen her crossed with when used as the mom, and even as the dad have turned out incredible.

Holy hell, way to kill it dude...this is one of the most impressive displays I've seen in the vertical forum without a doubt. I'm getting ready to light up a 5kw stadium this week that's a damned near identical version of your setup, even down to the friggin' pot size and plant count/light. Can't wait to see what the old-school SS AK47 & White Russian cuts can do for me here, first multi-light vert I've done and I'm having a blast with it so far. Planning on 10 (ever a pessimist ), but if the way you are jamming the fuck out in here is any indication, I might be able to add a few digits. can't wait to see what comes next man, keep it up

The window is shut, even during the summer it was shut. When I built the room I thought for sure I'd need the cool air coming in. Especially with 3k worth of light so I built it in to the design. After I switchedto two I closed the window and it never ever gets above 76 or much below 65. I think it's because I used so much super thick insulation. It also helps its in a basement.

No banner seeds, but there are OG "representative" seeds and OG s1s available and also strawberry Diesel seeds available. The banner cuts were found in give or take 20 seeds. Maybe a remake is in order? Or if you're in a med state I'm sure the BB 3 has made it there.

I did notice the missing 1000w. No doubt the yield would have been even higher with a third 1k, figures because thats what I designed it for. The colas that were smack in front of the lights and in between the lights were gigantic, but some of the colas on the outside, were about 80% of normal size.

If I had to redo it I would use the same space but with 3 600 hps and two 400 mh or some combination of mixed spectrums and lower wattage but more lights. I'm rambling.. I'm stoned as hell from some chemdog DD cured since this time last year.

The board acts as a barrier between the outside and inside. the only air coming in is through either of the 8" " duct flanges. These are easily capped off OR do what i do at another spot and buy a electric duct damper and set it on a timer to open (thus allowing fresh cold air to enter) when the lights turn on and close when the light turns off. Works great for me.

I think 5 600watt lights at staggered heights would kill it. I wouldn't worry that much about the mixed spectrum, so yes, the conversion would do just fine. Room was 3inches short of 8 feet.

To be honest I didn't really do that calculation.. i designed the room for 3k. i did this based on my 4x8 grow tents where 1k=4 feet. I thought in the vert it could handle more so I added a third 1k, making it a 1k light every 2.5 feet (give or take)

Correct, the window would have to be open. I found I didn't need it to be open to maintain temps with 2k. Now that it's winter i'm going to add the 3rd light back in and open the window about 2 inches.

Haha that's the homemade grow tent.. Cost me about 30 bucks in materials. Just 2x2's in a frame wrapped in panda with a adhesive zipper for the door. Not 100% light proof, but it's just a veg tent. I built it for a patient that my state says I can no longer have who has very limited money. I've said it before, but now that I'm not officially a caregiver for some of my previous patients, I've found I am devoting much more time and effort into making sure they are on track to produce their own top quality meds than when i could grow it for them. Sucks, but they need it regardless so what can you do?

Yeah the tent was easy to make, just took some time, some gorilla tape and a staple gun. The entire tent is actually one piece of panda i cut out to fit perfect. Except the floor it's seperate.

My state decided to start semi legal zoning of cargivers

Exactly. And it is a pain in the ass to get set up perfectly. I'm not sold on co2, i think it's strain dependant. If I did do it it would be with a generator though, screw replacing bottles every week or two. AC would be nice, but I just can't justify it. If I'm gonna run a ac I might as well run another light instead.

As long as you can keep the room cool enough another light would be a better use of the power fo sho! I have a hydro innovations generator and its great. Propane bottles are way less shady then big co2 cans!

Spurr is saying that 1500ppm of co2 is overkill now and actually might be detrimental. Ill have to try less next time i use it.

I'd do a trial. run a full cycle with co2, then run an identical setup (strains, temps, humidity etc..) and see if it truely yields you 15-20% more. If i monocropped one strain I might get into it, but unless every other variable is totally, and I mean 100% dialed in, I don't think I've ever seen much of a difference. I'm sure there are people who can claim otherwise and I'm glad for them. Changing genetics every 6 months and running 10 strains in one room.. no way is every single plant going to be dialed on on your very first run.

It took me almost a year of growing my OG cut to get it dialed in where it should be. I was starting to question whether or not I got the right cut until I dialed it and then man there wasn't anything better. Ramble...... I wonder how many strains I've passed on as "just ok" were ten times danker than i was able to do with them

I came to the same conclusion about c02....more power than it's worth...I'd need an 18000 btu A/C (1800w) and two 70 pint dehueys (1200w) to add a burner and go sealed with 4k.... 3000 additional watts!

I think simply adding more light would be a more efficient way to increase yields...

Just realized i have a couple of Whites that snuck in to my current grow & so glad to find they're in there . Had to bail out a friend taking many of his beautifully vegged out plants into our garden & some happened to be Whites from krome. What a beauty bud structure/nugs & so fast leaving the SourD's & even the StarDogs (ChemD BX'd) on the tables beside her in the dust . She'll be finished 2-3wks earlier & for top quality beauty nugs , thats pretty special.

( You can see easily why some here wanted to breed with "The White" )

As for CaseyJ no one would want me writing a report on her .... u notice in my post only grew her out once<g . Wud easily agree with others Casey leaves alot of question marks for the Thai component is there but not as pleasing or appealing as one would hope for . And the supposed Diesel in her seems muckied up with the Train Wreck hardly discernable at all . For huge long fluffy resinous colas (shes a tall beaster in that dept)
shes a winner for that , if one likes that sort of thing .

* My suggestion is run more ecsd or an OG/SD cross than Casey, though she is very resinous , what isn't these days ? The smell/aroma from her were just "off" to me & structure not all that pleasing ...but
maybe shes been worked on since ?

Yah, here she is (The White) only just over 30days , she was way in the back & couldn't get her to lean forward & cooperate ...girls hate to be moved around once they've settled in . Needed to get in there & do some work anyways , looked like everyone needed a shot of Calmag...its mid-flower & after a good rinse with r/o
