Cheers fellas!
Figured as much... :cathug: Been puttin in some 14 hour days myself with the move and remodeling and shit. Can't wait to see the next venture blow up, seed run, no?

Anytime man, she's goin strong. Got some interesting stuff poppin up over here as well you might be interested in. Good luck on the schoolin man, glad to hear you're not blowin it off.

Hey self, wanna shout some respect for the harvest, great numbers and it looks like some top notch quality.

I had a question for you about whats on the other side of that particle board. It looks like some sort of curtain attached? I have to assume you are in close proximity to neighbors because of the fan silencer. How did you disguise those ducts coming in? Did you paint the board black before the curtain? How was the particle board attached? Rawls into the concrete?

I also had a question for you about your "the white" cut. I recently had to take cuttings from flowering plants. I have 2 chem phenos and the White. All 3 were showing what looked like TMV symptoms off the rip but after some research I found that the chems just carry this "trait". Have you seen anything like the leaf blistering Wandering Roman posting in his TMV thread on your the White?

https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=177527

That is a link to his thread for reference. I was very worried at first because the symptoms were very similar to that but now just think it is one of those "traits" said to be carried by true OG's and chems. Any idea what Im talking about?

Hey there, thanks for the nice words. I stapled a sheet to the other side of the particle board, in fornt of that are some cheapo blinds. I cut a cross shape into the sheet where the ducts are and folded in the edges. In between the sheet and the board I cut out some cheap furnace filter and wedged it in between. Because of the blinds (which are closed about 80% of the way) facing down and its in a window well all it looks like under even close scrutiny is.. well.. blinds :) Particle board is ram set straight into the concrete, though there are various ways to do this.

On the white... I've definitely seen the leaf variegation show up in the white especially under times of stress during veg. IT IS NOT TMV at least to the best of knowledge and experience.

cheers!

Nice results self. I hope my results are close to yours, my current grow is lookin crazy. rm is fillin in nicely and if I can push the 1.28 I'll be lookin at alil over 5 #'s. Truth be told looks doable. I just hit the 6 wk mark, two more wks and we'll see. big ups.

Hey, thanks for the quick response. I'm relieved to hear that you have also seen this variegation.

Another question about your window setup....whats on the other side of the blinds? A double hung window? Is it open? (it would have to be....) Id be worried about an open window in the middle of the winter.....Also, you are using those takeoffs as passive intake? That should work if you attached some duct to them too right? Ramset is a loud ass tool but they are fun to use. Can blast through steel with that shit!

Now a question about your room dimensions. While designing the room, did you follow the 50w/sq ft rule? And in doing this, you went with what would be your canopy correct? I believe the room was 8ft long and 7ft high? thats 3000w/56 sq ft is aprox 53.5 watts/sq ft (went with the original 3k that the room was supposed to be). You obviously were not negatively effected by dropping the 3rd thousand....can you comment on you light distribution?

Do they sell that banner in seed form in the clubs out there?

Thanks!

wow.
excellent work. and seriously inspiring.
i'm about to throw my first round of girls - a multi-strained jungle like yours - into flower under 2k hps (vegging under 600/1000watt HPS, depending on temp)...and after reading your thread, I'm really tempted to copy your style for flowering...i'm just under my medical limit for my state at 31 plants, a mix of lemon g, bubba kush, sweet tooth and death star, all from clones, been in veg for @ month now. space isn't an issue...what to do, what to do??

again, excellent work, thanks for the knowledge and inspiration.

SELF

question on your drip setup.

do you have any regulators inline to limit what each plant gets so they all get watered the same? or do they just level out themselves?

I'm using 2gph drippers on my setup right now and some of them are clogging so i'm looking to upgrade.

Hey SELF, remarkable grow here. Great job!

I have a question, you mentioned a few posts up that next time you plan on flowering out 1/2 the room at a time. Will you have to build another room so that you can veg vert?

I'd like to convert my small 600w room to vert but I'm running perpetual and I don't really have the setup/room to do veg vert as well. I was just wondering how you planned on accomplishing this.

Thanks and once again, REMARKABLE

edit: just noticed you kinda answered this a few posts up, you can just ignore this unless you care to elaborate.

Really impressive stuff......I have a similar window I'd like to utilize, you have definitely given me some great ideas... I had some similar questions as some other people....

Mainly: Any concern with having the window open in the middle of the winter?

The window is shut, even during the summer it was shut. When I built the room I thought for sure I'd need the cool air coming in. Especially with 3k worth of light so I built it in to the design. After I switchedto two I closed the window and it never ever gets above 76 or much below 65. I think it's because I used so much super thick insulation. It also helps its in a basement.

No banner seeds, but there are OG "representative" seeds and OG s1s available and also strawberry Diesel seeds available. The banner cuts were found in give or take 20 seeds. Maybe a remake is in order? Or if you're in a med state I'm sure the BB 3 has made it there.

I did notice the missing 1000w. No doubt the yield would have been even higher with a third 1k, figures because thats what I designed it for. The colas that were smack in front of the lights and in between the lights were gigantic, but some of the colas on the outside, were about 80% of normal size.

If I had to redo it I would use the same space but with 3 600 hps and two 400 mh or some combination of mixed spectrums and lower wattage but more lights. I'm rambling.. I'm stoned as hell from some chemdog DD cured since this time last year. :)

To be honest the drip line didn't work out as well s I thought it would. Not becasue its not a good idea, mainly because I have no irrigation knowledge and didn't know which parts to use etc.. But to make them water evenly you must loop the system.

great build out and killer grow... can't beat it. nicely done! with room to improve.. 3# per light looks possible at your place.

I think you're right man, with the right strain 3# light is definitely doable. Sadly we will never find out because out monocropping would about ruin you, plus my patients require different strains.

Great screen name lol. I've learned most of everything I know about cannabis right here.

The advantage of vegging vertical is that right off the bat when you flower you have lower branches already reaching horizontally. If you have room, yes veg vert, preferably in a stadium. That said, I don't think it's totally necessary especially if you can give em a week or two under the vertical flowering lights before you actually click over.

The board acts as a barrier between the outside and inside. the only air coming in is through either of the 8" " duct flanges. These are easily capped off OR do what i do at another spot and buy an electric duct damper and set it on a timer to open (thus allowing fresh cold air to enter) when the lights turn on and close when the light turns off. Works great for me.

Thanks for the nice words everyone!

Awesome grow man ! Especially the pictures you shot are pretty nice. :)

I wonder if it would be helpful to get the plants closer to the lamps + more of them but smaller ones... ? Maybe a problem of heat and watering.
Well and ofc some high yield sorts will definitly give ur yield a boost ! :p

Greetings from Germany
FOX

PS: 3 x 600 w is a good idea i think.
