I don't think anybody has mentioned this, but what does it matter if OP seemed like a sketched out weirdo to the post man? The post man meets everybody, and lots of people are way worse than sketched out weirdo's.

I just had a plain package <<<<<edited to conform with touu>>>>>> delivered to my PO Box. A registered letter slip was left. Meant I have to go to the counter and sign for a package that would easily fit in the PO box. I had mixed feelings having read this thread.

I was in a weird mood and just said fuck it. Got in line at the rural PO I use for my business (non-can) and where they know me pretty well. Turned out they had mistaken a non-US delivery confirmation for registered mail.

and alone is correct lol..

in Mass . the cops do 3 controlled buys.. 1 with the CI.. 1 with the CI and a undercover.. and the 3rd.. they get the CI to give u the money and take his shit and leave and then come bustin in the bitch with a warrant. its very fucked up..

when I was setup for dope related shit.. they tried to interrogate me even after I asked for a lawyer.. they said o come on we can make all of this go away if u help us get some1 big.. they didn't care if it was weed.. LSD. MDMA. Heroin.. Coke... Crack.. anything big enough to make them look like they were doing an AMAZING JOB is what they wanted.. all u need to do .. ask for a lawyer .. shut up .. take ur charges.. get a good lawyer.. and do as he says.. everything will be ok.

honestly.. if ur small numbers like u say.. ur fine. just stay out of the hundreds of plants.. or else it can be hard.. for any lawyer to get you off.

In my area when doing crystal meth busts, they tend to do a controlled buy from a dealer, test it, then bust them a week later on a minor traffic violation. So that nobody knows who the ci is.

Well now, the NSA is sharing its vast amount of info with LEO's to make busts. Then they have to "work it backwards" and make up things to cover their tracks to make it look like a routine traffic stop or sobriety call or insert here. This is a pretty big deal and not getting deserved press. Go see for yourself, not fear mongering just keeping informed.NS

Yeah I have been expecting such behavior for a while, but the confirmation of these crimes by our government against our people make me infinitely more insecure. Its not just tinfoil hat paranoia, this shit is real and running rampant. Your constitutional rights and due process can suck dick as far as they are concerned. Be safe and watch your back guys, these types of things have a tendency to escalate before resolving themselves.

now it's the fed ex guy that is acting weird. he chuckles repeatedly one time, and this time says something like "it's always something with you isn't it?" It was a hedge trimmer, how is this comment justified or on what planet does it make sense?

are you constantly receiving deliveries every day or what? maybe he is just trying to make small talk and is awkward. i dunno just thinking what would be the most likely explanation. I don't think you are on some list man, sounding paranoid, but its all good.

Plus, a hedge trimmer is some very accessible shit. Like why order it online when for the same price you can get one at one of the many hardware stores nearby. Maybe that is what prompted the inane comment.

^^^And you know this how? You must know gas is cheap there, he did not get free shipping, etc, etc.

Damn, just STFU dave (as he talks to himself). It's just this ASSUMING and judgemental bullshit REALLY pisses me off. Look at my avatar.

If you get regular deliveries the drivers get chatty. I've had my regular UPS guys talk about drugs multiple time. One told me a brick of weed fell out of a poorly taped box and he just taped it up and delivered it like nothing had happened. This was a year or two before I started growing.

Another one screwed something up and said: "I took too many drugs during the '80s to start getting cute now".

All of it is just small talk. Everybody who comes to my home or workplace gets a friendly response - unless they've proven themselves worthy of something else.

These guys don't care what they are delivering. It's all just stuff to get rid of before they can go home. Poor security practices and pissed off neighbors and romantic partners will get you 100 times before the UPS guy gives a fuck :)

Actually Gaius, Angus has told this same tale three times already on icmag, and apparently that is all he posts about. Wonder why?

Most ppl are wising up to the Police State.

Better to live in a place where you're not considered a criminal because you use marijuana or fight to change the laws where you live.

Buy from reputable seed banks that have been in biz for many years and know the ropes, not new ones.

And remember, shit happens.

Skip, I'm not quite sure I understand your post as much gets lost in interpretation and translation on a internet forum.
So I have to ask are you insinuating That I have had a account here the last 5 years to just pop in once in a while to spread fear and paranoia?
I assure you that is not the case.
I lurk around ICmag once a week to check out new technology and see what fellow brethren growers are producing.

and when I see people asking for advice on a situation that I'm well versed in I will sometimes give out solid information.

if you've ever been to federal prison for growing one tends to not post pics of ones grow.

maybe I'm reading this wrong.
When I was being transported to a federal holding facility I was transported with 2 other growers that were indicted on fed charges but their discovery papers showed that they were also hit for seed confiscation. and the gov. tracked their internet purchases and tied it with the growers using a credit card.
If you purchase beans with a credit card then seeds get intercepted it is pretty clear there is guilt involved.
I mean really is someone going to steal your credit card then order seeds to your address just for the fun of it?

no, i understood what u said, thats why i said, "should not be included". But we all know cops do what they want. but that doesnt mean its legal, and thats why you ultimately beat the seeds being counted as plants.
that being said i do wish i would have wrote, "For the people's information", not "fyi", because i didnt really intend my message to be directed at you. i apoligize if i came across as a know-it-all, i was just trying to offer a piece of info i thought might be useful and relevant to the thread.

Thank you for clarifying that brother.
Yes technically if they confiscate beans and they check you out and have no plants they can't use it against you.

tip? you tip fedex guys? I am sure it's a joke but I don't get it. anyway, I probably am too paranoid but who knows still doesn't seem to call for this remark. It varies, fed ex or ups comes up every 10 days or 2 weeks or so, hardly excessive I think but until the last year or two they never came up or just once or twice total in a few decades. Still, it is mostly equipment my brother orders, and when it is something for the garden, it is for the outdoor veggie garden... bugs, diatamaceous earth (ok that was for inside but how does he know?) and other such innocuous stuff. My brother shops around and works for a major retail chain where he gets an employee discount and often can get display stuff or clearance stuff at sometimes an extreme discount. He is smart and thrifty and will not spend more than he has to. so if he orders something online, it is almost always cheaper that way. He tends to spend freely, maybe too freely for his means, but he knows the best buys too. So I think all is ok but I do not take anything too lightly nor too seriously.

never ordered seeds like in your situation, how do you pay? it seems like almost any way you pay, since it is over the internet, there would be something tying your name to the seed purchase. How do you get around that?

why do you think we have been advising for years not to use credit cards to order seeds, it's an admission of the order if you use a credit card in your name. so if you have to get a gift card. or send cash in an envelope. that way there is no trail.

yeah the thing about the tip was kinda a joke. the point i was making is that it could have just been harmless chit chat. i wouldn't order earth over the internet, but if you do have the delivery guy carry it to your veg garden so it's clear what it's for.

We should start doing everything backwards. That way, when they're working backwards, it'll appear that they're moving forward and we'll see them coming.

I dunno. The OP just seems too paranoid for his own good. Put down the sativas.

yeah all these big corporations are being trained by nsa to "know their customers", thats probably why he was asking questions. i hear that a lot of places do that nowadays, not just the banks. car rental agencies, hotel employees, taxi drivers and truckers are all told to keep an eye out for anything out of the ordinary, i guess postal workers are no exception.

America is out of the ordinary. They better have real BIG eyes.

The difference in postal workers is, it seems like there is probably some kind of rewards program for them. You know, like they can earn cash for turning in suspected whatevers...

Posting up the same info, over and over is a violation of ICMag's guidelines.

Must you repeat your story over and over on this same site?
If it's so important for you to inform others about your story, go post it elsewhere instead of over and over on the same site.
You made your point the first time. Now it's just tedious and makes it appear you have an agenda here, that has nothing to do with researching growing tips...
