Sea Solids make plants EXPLODE in hydro!!

anybody interested in ocean water for plant food should watch david wolfe on youtube talk about it. i myself lived in the desert for a while, bought some pink new zealand raw salt from the organic co op, put a dash in my water , drank it and was literally in physcial bliss after for a half hour, my body buzzed, im a health nut somewhat and only consume raw salts for the most part, its cheap n tasty. this is very interesting stuff, i was also wondering about adding dulse powder to my nutes and seeing what might happen, maybe a dulse moleasses tea. keep us posted salt man.

Can I have the name of that NZ product please.

My sea solids in dirt experiments have started. So far I've seen a much better/faster germination rate from solids in corn plots. This at 12 gram per square metre watered in. Manufacturer recommends 35 gm psm.

As great as the buds look, the leaves are awesome. No signs of deficiencies.

More pics please!

Oh, and I wound up with over 4 ozs on one 2 ft plant.

I have a Journal of my new grow- LED with Advanced Mist System. Not using the sea minrals 100% but I am adding them.

Those look fantastic Osiris. My corn trial is going well it's hard to believe what I'm seeing the sea solid plot is twice the size and 50% better germination rate. This at only a fortnight old.

Also seeing some nice changes happening to an old and tired aquaponic system. Happy fish and plants are taking off again.

Thanks so much for persevering here long enough for me to see the value in it.

I can't wait to start testing the microbial counts etc with this stuff. Be a while but I'll get there.

ps - for others wanting to use this in dirt. I used 300ppm first time as recommended by Osiris. Will add more a bit later as plants grow.

Good to see new things, I just read every post in this thread. Seems cool enough, to at least order small amounts, and try it out.

Im glad you have taken the time and effort to share your experiment with us. Lots of people just dont care enough to share.

So just read through this whole thread. Interesting stuff.

I've been using OceanSolution on my grows for a while now and have had good results. Not sure if it's improved the yield any but have never had any deficiencies nor have I have any pest/disease problems. My plants are in 3gallon buckets of perlite/coco mix. I use the OceanSolution as a foliar spray, usually making sure I spray the area around the base of the plants as well. I'm also using it in conjunction with GH FloraNova (which I use at half recommended dosage). About once a week, I will add a little OceanSolution (about 5ml/gallon) in with the FloraNova. I'm a firm believer in using ocean trace minerals.

My question is what are you recommending now. At the beginning of the thread, you were using sea-90, sea-crop & thalassa mix. From your last couple of posts, it appears as you're using "Himalayan & Celtic sea salt combo with small amounts of liquid guano". Why the switch? I thought Himalayan & Celtic sea salts were lacking something that the other products had. I've never priced out the Himalayan & Celtic salts, but if they're cheaper and work just as well - I'm in!

wow man, great thread. been a long time since i checked in.

ive been using himalayan crystal salt for years now but at low ppm w my usual nutes just as an additive. cant beat 88 minerals from the holy land lol.

much respect, keep up the r/d. i wouldnt even answer the trolls anymore. if you take them personally then you become them, someone whom takes things personal haha lol.

how do you compare the taste of your sea crops vs other organic methods. yield and quality as well??? this is an awesome way to do hydro organic, without any headaches, peace, d

Yea IMO hydro-organic is the way togo if done correctly...

Sea Solid bud always taste better and WAYY more smooth then plain organic or
chem stuff, i get compliments all the time about the smoothness and potency, i
even got people with asthma telling me my cannabis is the only one they can
actually smoke with no effort!..

Keeps people VERY Happy!

Supplement your current grow you will not regret it...

Yo man need help...

Yo man need help...

Very confused how to go about supplementing with sea-90...

so I put what I thought was a teaspoon in a gallon of 15ppm water....

I went to my small plants and clones and sprayed them...one clone was dieing and drying out...within 10 minutes the dieing and drying clone was up and looking good...I was shocked.

So I go test the ppm and it was 4000ppm!!! WHOA to much even though my plants didn't burn but seemed to like it...But I feel feeding them this daily would eventually burn them...So what should my ppm be for foliar and what should my ppm be for feeding into the soil. I'm using 100% complete line of Roots Orgnanics, should I add like 500ppm of salt? What do you think?:thank you:

hey

never go over 2000ppm of seasalt unless in 4-6 week of flower..
even then dont go over 3000...

personally i use 1500ppm throughout the whole grow now...seed soak to harvest

i havent grown with this technique in real soil so i dont have any experience...i have grown in peat, coco and water..

my best suggestion for soil is not to go over 1000ppm and only feed once every 3 weeks

foilar spraying under the leaves at 500ppm, definitely works well.

Cool grow method. I'm interested in reading new
(new to me anyway) methods like this. Cool to see in the rez forum that you're running the chemDD too! We have a real keeper that a friend of mine found, I swear its more potent, smellier, and weightier, than the ecsd or ChemD!

I concur! Just finished my 1st grow with sea salts. Best tasting and smoothest smoke EVER! I personally am an asthmatic, so Im normally limited to vaping. However, with this herb grown this way, I can smoke a J (using raw papers and a hemp wick) from start to finish taking ridiculously sized hits without coughing once =)

This run im switching from SEA-90 to Himalayan sea salt. My next run ill probably try running with PBP instead of H&G nutes and see if my results suffer.
