Terp was talking about his Alien OrangeADE still pushing pistils at week 10. I stopped seeing new pistils at week 7 despite doing a PK dose then. I scoped mine this morning and don't see any amber but hopefully that'll change in the next 10-14 days
I have been testing CMH lights for a few years now. My veg room is all CMH. They def produce comparable results to HPS. Quality is as good if not better.. I was running 5kw HPS. I'm now running 2kw HPS + 1890 CMH. I can see a bit faster finishing times. I have 2 of the new 945w de CMH bulbs coming to test in place of the 2 1kw HPS bulbs for a total of 3780w of all CMH. I'm using less power and less heat with no diminished yield returns. My girls have never been more happy

GT - I am surprised that your Orange AlienADE is sealed off, mine still threw hairs till about 9-9.5 weeks. Here's mine at 7.5 weeks for reference:

Untopped mango-citric Zamaldelica leaning pheno of Zamaldelica x Ethiopian @ 10.5 weeks. This is the plant I pollinated with the VERY lemony ethiopian leaning male because it reminds me in every way of the "terroriffic" phenos of Zamaldelica.
Topped 60/40 Ethiopian leaning pheno of Zamaldelica x Ethiopian @ 9.5 weeks. This plant was very lemons and sandwich dill pickles smelling till about week 8 when it decided to switch to a much more pleasant mango-carrot-cream smell. There were a few weeks where I was concerned I would have a bunch of dill pickle weed that I wouldn't be interested in smoking..
Untopped runty pheno of Zamaldelica x Ethiopian @ 9.5 weeks. This plant is small, but very lime-fruity flintstones vitamins smell in addition to the mango-carrot-lemon smell. Of the three, it probably has the best aroma, but is least desirable in terms of vigor.
All three were producing the same bud density at 5 weeks, but the 60/40 pheno was moved under the screw ins and has since really outrun the other two plants. We'll see if the last minute switch plumps up the mango-ctric pheno. If so, I think the Blackstar may be retired in lieu of more screw in LEDs.

The top one is the AD-E pheno and it has pushed out a few...anD I mean very few pistils since I gave PK a week ago. The bottom is the Alien OrangeADE v1 pheno and I haven't seen any fresh pistils on it.
Im pretty sure it was Capulator that found a pheno of Orange Cookies that can be taken @ 50 days so theres some speed in the mix

MikeDarg - they're standard 3000K / 5000K screw in 100w replacements (14w/16w bulbs). Set them up on 8-10 inch centers or roughly 30w per sqft and you'll be as bright as just about anything you're used to.
Mauritius x Ethiopian @ 5 weeks. I think we're just about done stretching, so this may work out after all. The plant has been stacking with little difference in bud density up to about 30-36" off the bulbs:

The tall and spindly untopped mango carrot zamal leaning pheno has thickened up quite a bit since being moved under the screw ins:
As I assumed would happen, the untopped pheno has slowed in development under the Blackstar. Its probably time to retire the expensive panel in favor of little bulbs.
The runty pheno has been my "control" for the LED test, it continues to stack but pales in comparison on output:

I found a device called Sensor Push, it has a form factor I feel would work well, needs little more than a smart phone or similar device to do all I might ever expect such a device to do.
I am as yet unsure it is the sensor I need, but it does look to have the qualities and capabilities I want.
As for why I have yet to pull the trigger...at least one review questions the devices accuracy. This could be a problem, or easily correctable. Me, being somewhat risk averse...well, I'm not sure just yet.
Take a look and see what you think of it as far as specs go, I would like to hear your opinion.
In other news I hit 7 strains with the Mauritius x Ethiopian male from Terpene; SSH, WSD, both ADExAOC #W and #X, two SuperWreckers #N and #O, and Affy #4 which I have been calling "Superstition".
The combination(s) of genetics here should prove to create some interesting phenotypes. I am filled with increasing anticipation as this project moves forward.
