I lurk in this thread daily even though I'm from up the way in SFV there is always useful

info a cool people in here. Just wanted to say thanks to those that have shared their

knowledge. Hell, sometimes this thread has the feeling of OG from back in the day. I

haven't made a peep because, although, I've been to your city more times than I can

count, I'm not from there or live there... But want to say thanks to all here

Well the greenhouse this morning stinks of success! And the northern lights x big bud has finally cured enough to get a good taste of! Woo goo Thursdays!

Also check out that purple indica I've posted a photo of. Was given the strain by a gentleman I met that then had to shut his grow down. He called it 6 week og. I know nothing more about it. Any ideas? Look familiar to anyone?

Doomsday, you have any "little bud" problems doing greenhouse grows during the winter?

First time I have had a couple out in a greenhouse this late. And a friend who does his work in a greenhouse stated that during this time he usually gets very small buds that are only worth it for tincture and cooking. I would like to know your thoughts.

I used to have that problem when running greenhouse in cold environments until I started vegging the plants indoors. I cannot speak for a scientific factual standpoint, but I can say that allowing the root zone to fully develop in a warm indoor environment before placing the plants outside to flower has really helped. Overall the yields are smaller during the winter months, but they are no longer just small useless turds for buds.

Visited an old friend and picked up some new strains. :thank you:

Padlock, GG4, and Jetfuel G7(Tested above 30%)

Already showing roots through the bottom of the cups so transplant within a week, then veg for 2 more or so until I flip! :woohoo:

Setup will be 600HPS, inline fan, not sure if I care about a filter these days, at least not yet. brand new tent, and the ladies are under the T5s for another week or so.

Going to be soaking some Fire OG x Skunk Va today. I gave 2 of the 9 seeds away to Critter. I'll be dropping a couple of those and a few of Nspecta's WCD x Bubba. Tis the season.

What's the best cuts floating around in San Diego right now? I live in Eastern US but can order clones from Cali and was wondering what to look for and what to stay away from.

EC - those plants are looking excellent as always!

GT - Minor update on the Alien Dawg Ether x Alien Orange Cookies - they are quick to veg! I have already potted up to a 4 inch pot for both plants which are rapidly throwing roots.

Here's what I'll be running this coming year from the Ace Seeds 2017 collection. Yes, there is a stupid amount of Zamaldelica and Ethiopian in there, I am a glutton for punishment.

Edit - I forgot to mention that I tried my first rosin ever. Anyone will tell you that I am generally not a fan of dab / shatter / etc as flowers always did the trick. I don't like the idea of flammable chemicals and heat close to one another, seems like a good way to end up on the evening news. Rosin Evolution educated me - basically its a hot press and pressure that makes rosin, no blasting, no chemicals. Based on smell / taste / effect, I think it was made with Chem or Chem91 (but I forgot what I was told). What a great product - its as pure as smoking kief on top of a bowl, all you get is flavor and clean smoke.

Nice!!! I've ALWAYS considered double serrations to be a good indication of potency. I really would like to know what base line genetic contributed that the larger gene pool.

I see it on several things I've grown over the years. UK Cheese will throw double serrations when kept in peek health. The Digi cut and all her offspring that lean heavily towards her show the double serrations.

I've seen it on others too - but generally consider it to be a positive trait - outside of seeking it as a known parental trait.

We've flowered two so far...one...which gt has already sampled...#B...is going away...the second I've got some drying right now...have smoked on it for a few days...just as powerful as the first...if not more...very long lasting high....loooong....but that is the most noticeable detail I've picked up...smell and taste are ehh...
One thing in common w the superwrecker..d91...and ogchem.... everything I've popped has that same boring taste and smell....but...that is not a lot of them by anyone's standard...each one of those crosses I'm looking for the cuts that most resemble the mother...or any sort that doesn't resemble sk va....
So far she a dominant biotch...good luck Frank...let us know

My heart was really in sprouting some of the SuperWrecker...honestly. However, I know those have the potential of being 11wk plants and that really isn't what I'm after at the moment. That and I want to be able to see more than a couple plants at a time with those.

Hate to hear you think they are more bland but your standards are super high compared to most so I'll take it with a grain of salt. If they don't melt my carbon filter then it could make a really nice outdoor plant. Bland isn't always a bad thing if they still hold their own in the medical usage department.
