What up SDF! I feel shitty I was really bad with updates on these, but this is that BHT Hawgs X Afghani Dream from Growtech.
Out of the three that made it home I got 2 females 1 male. The shorty female and the male got taken by wind unfortunately, leaving me with the taller more vigorous female. She's got a rancid mango funk going on, absolutely covered in thick tacky resin.
I've only just smoked the first bowls of it, other than an early sample the wind broke off, but first indicators tell me this stuff has power for days.

Very nice...I can tell you those buds look like the affy females I've grown from the seeds that the pollen came from...from what I can see I can't pull out any of the bht traits...the smell doesn't sound like the affy so far...though 1 of the females had a decidedly citrus berry smell...nice job man!
I have been jonesing for some Afghan lately so this is good to hear. I'm hoping I can get her to reveg, to run her under lights but also make s1 seeds to run outdoors and hopefully find a more bht plant. This plant was waaaayy more productive than the clones I ran in this hoop, even with the main branch snapped off.
Thanks for the update OGK. Of the 5 or 6 phenos I've flowered, 1/2 got culled due to poor calyx to leaf ratio.I kept one that I like the flavor. The rest didn't do it for me. I still have a bunch of seeds so the search continues
Cherry Pie x Xena 6 weeks in and causing serious issues with odor. My scrubber isn't even coming close to doing it's job with this girl.
Med Tree Seeds Tabula Rasa (Toci x Harlequin) looks a lot like my last run of Harlequin at its 8.5 week chop. This plant spent its life under the home store LEDs in 11/13. The whole place smells like pink grapefruit and flowers..

Just re-did my room in anticipation of a hot east county summer by swapping out 2 more lights with 315w CMH.

Seems a lot of people are making the 315 switch. I've been looking at a couple of Greenbeams myself.

Wait till I get the phantom hood(still backordered) tested vs the greenbeam, frank. You may just be able to save some $$. The phantom's air-cooled option is huge...as long as it still performs well. I haven't needed the AC much with 6 greenbeams in a 5x9, just open windows. Come summer though, and the AC will be running full force.

I have 2 small rooms. The bigger has 4-1000w HPS and is climate controlled while the smaller has 2 315's with a 600w HPS that's turned down to 450w and only means of dissipating heat is the exhaust. The smaller CMH room has now outperformed (quality-wise) the climate controlled room all 3 times.
