hey man, great to see you have more space to be working with!

i havnt got a chance to read though everyone responses but i was wondering if you had thought of building shelves for a stadium kind of affect.

use your floor space and a couple feet from the walls edges start building upwards to get more space and this will also give your ladies more room for personal growth.

very excited to see what you end up doing with this space and i will be sticking around to see how things progress.

Best wishes with the new location and puff er easy :rasta:

TML16 Hey man! Thanks for joining me on this one. We have a bit more dust today. The electrician was in the house and all but one wire is pulled but I ran out of 14/2...Very close on sealing up the walls and ceiling.

hidingtree Hey amigo! :friends: You actually hit it on the head. I was in horrid pain today questioning my existence, but I am doing a little better after some warm tea and some blueberry. I'm very interested in your grows my friend, I just don't poke around all over the forums a lot so I miss a lot of people's grows. Sometimes I only have time to post on my thread and a few in my subscribed list. There are SO many great shows going on around here it almost feels like OG back in the day.

I am going to get things moving forward as quick as possible, but there are a number of bits and pieces still missing like plumbing, new water pump for the chiller, etc. I have decided on doing an 8 bucket run for this first time out to see how it goes.

Dimebag Glad you finally made it over, and also glad to see you back online. I was getting worried when you disappeared for a few days over there. :joint: So far I have decided on running 8 buckets total...stadium sounds like a great idea. :canabis: I will have to see what the budget allows because I am cutting it WAY close. The bigger chiller and new water pump have eaten a chunk that I couldn't afford, but I'm dealing with it best I can.

Hang tight everyone...The next few days should see a lot of work done..

This sweet piece of machinery arrived yesterday:

YUKON What's happening man?!?! Thanks for the props bro...this should be fun when we get to actually seeing some green.

StonedGrunt55 ....steady working at it man! Trying to iron out some of the budget issues. There's a million bits and pieces I had forgotten on top of buying the expensive chiller. All under control though....... :joint:

NorthernKronic Hey man! You hit it on the head. Thanks for joining and thanks for the patience. There is MUCH to do here. :smoke:

The update....for what it is anyway:

So, you can see wires are actually pulled into boxes now, and I have mostly built my DIY 6" carbon scrubber. Just need pantyhose and batting....my better half can pick those up tonight, lol! They didn't seem to have pantyhose at the hardware store...

I have a casing for the door that is the exact size I needed that was a freebie!!!

I have some R-19 for the ceiling (buddy didn't have the R-30) but it's a FREEBIE too!!

Last things to get are some more uni-seals so I can run more buckets and the dang water pump that's gonna cost about $100. Sheesh.

I think I'm going to use uni-seals to go from 1 1/2" drain on each bucket into a 6" main that will attach to the res and use just gravity again to make it drain as each bucket will have a 3/4" line running 24/7 from the chiller. I think the chiller and pump alone are going to draw enough juice...ugh! I think I'll be pulling major power by the time I'm done. :yoinks: Might have to shut down some of my 6 computers.

Wiring and scrubber...

Doh...no budshots anywhere in here. How bad of me... :spank: Took these for fun....that DP Blueberry is very sweet! For those that missed it, this stuff smokes so killer. It has a spicy inhale with a HUGE expansion followed by a sweet berry exhale. Yum....I can only imagine how strong this would have been at 70 days. It already kicks my ass. :asskick: :spank: :bashhead:

This what happened in that dang closet...

Can't imagine what this room will be like... :chin:

Well now,all this work and no mention of what yer gonna run in there...got any strains in mind?Room looks like it will produce some produce.I see ya got the chiller,my chiller is a stanley blower sucking in 57 degree air in the room right now giving me 68 degrees in the water under 300 watts of hps.

I have to get some floral wire to prop up the G-13 x sour diesel seedlings in the closet, they are getting leggy under one cfl, gotta get a 150 in there in the morning, and get them on some nutes. The Dabney Blueberry is smelling the room up at almost one foot, the Tangeringe haze is right behind her.

Things are looking good...you have RO or good water?I'll pop some pics when things get interesting.Sounds like the Blueberry is treating you well,I haven't had any good hydro for months...but soon.Out is out for now...

kicks ass having a nice professional wiring job. so, you feel a little funny buying pantyhose? nice scrubber, S2D. if i put one in it will be because my wife gripes about the smell.(no smell stealth needed).
so, are you going to devote a corner space for moms, clones?

outame2 Good question...what to run. I think my first run is going to be a run for as much weight as I can pull, so I'm going to run my sk#1 first. I'd like to get near the 2LB mark and if any of my strains will do it, I know this one will. I also have 6 BOG Grape Punch seeds that belong to my buddy, but I'm allowed to pop em and get mommas going, so I might do those next. Then I've still got my skum widow haze and blueberry. My little pineapple plant has never really recovered since the day I got it, so I killed it.

I do have an RO/DI water filter that I use, so we'll have no water troubles! I have a feeling you'll be smoking on the good buds about a month or so from now and I'll be out of bud waiting like you are, lol!

hazy Hey man! :joint: The electrical is going to be so sweet in there. 3x15 amp 120v circuits, 1x30 amp 240v circuit, plus the circuit the room plugs are on is another 15amp. So I'm WAY good on power.

I was going to ask a lady to help me find the BIGGEST pair of pantyhose they make, lol. "Yes ma'am, I want the largest pair you got!" I can imagine the look on their face already. :jump:

I will have space for a veg area if I like, but I'm going to use the whole area for veg and flower this first run while I work out other details. For now my mommas and clones will stay in their cabinet though.

As for smell...well, you know I don't try to hide it because of my religious use, but we were already at the point you could smell it far outside the house on the last runs. If it weren't for that, we'd have no smell control at all. We also seem to have pretty nosy old neighbors I don't want catching a whiff. The old guy has already told me how he calls the cops on all the neighbors. He even boasted he is signed up online so he can report people without his name being in it. :asskick: I think we'll play safe on smell due to those couple reasons.

StonedGrunt55 You know I try man! :headbange

"S2D" what are the dimensions of your scrubber?
core diameter?
outside diam?
length?

we have the same fan (vortex 6'' 449cfm)...thats why im askin bro...and if i can save off of buying a canaire 6''...then im gonna build it again.

it looks like your goin' the route that I did w/ the one for my cab, I borrowed that from "durban poison". (but my cabinet scrubber is designed for 160cfm...so its smaller)

did you follow the formula for your fan/core/scrubber combo?

also ...I found that wrapping the metal screen on the scrubber w/ some window screen material before adding the panty hose makes a HUGE difference in avoiding tears in the pantyhose, and keeps the carbon in its place better.

check out my new closet link in my sig, I'm sure your input would be helpful on this

good lookin out bro!

Hey Yukon...I followed Durban's formula for the scrubber. The length is 27.5" long with a 6" core and 8" outside. The thing to know is home depot doesn't carry duct caps in that size, but I walked into lowes and the 6 and 8" caps were side by side on the shelf. Dunno how it will be in your area, but I was surprised the depot didn't carry them at all here.

I might try the extra screen bit if I have any troubles with pantyhose...I only know how to get them OFF efficiently, lol! Hope my info helps some bro.

perfect!

I know the run around to stores for duct pieces....I did that when I built my cabinet...i was at lowes, HD, and even had to barter for a duct reducer from an installer at a "job-site".

that info is gold!

also are u gonna run that:
- hood<fan<scrubber(scrubber outside the room) or
- scrubber(in the room)<hood<fan

exhaust into attic?

Yukon I'll be running through some hurricane glass, no hood just batwing reflectors, then out to the laundry room with fan pushing through the scrubber in there. Chiller is going in there also. I got the carbon on ebay. 5 gallon bucket for $30 or so plus shipping. Ended up about $50 for me, but it's 27lbs. :canabis:

Core Grab some :lurk: and pull up a seat. I'm famous for my struggles...so this is going to be interesting one way or another! :bashhead:

Bignugget The HVAC supply house would have been my next stop...I was just glad lowes had them.
