The feeling of using up an old bag of something is as perfect as the pulling off a very old new appliance cellophane logo cover.

nope, no wacky races tractor fun for me, no umbrella

i get to dig holes and mix soil while mr. tractor has "fun" out there...
he broke is home-made marking implement on my field - which hasn't been worked in a decade or so...

finishing the marking now and moving on to breaking in the 90" wide sections that will become beds when another pork farmer very local to me will comes in and strip tills the broken sections

^^ holes almost finished.... excited to really mix soil and get these things full, want to fill them all with water before filling with soil to saturate the ground and seep into sub soil, perhaps soften that lower soil up a lil bit as well

^^ raised beds coming along
using pumice in these raised beds, at least in this first one.. help w drainage and aeration, reduce compacting
amending these veggie beds with bio-live from down to earth (got a 50 lb bag a while back and trying to use it up) and some azomite as well (lil bit)

To bad we are still about 4-5 months away from the first cutting of hay. Nothing like watching tractor's with balers drag racing down rows of cut hay seeing how is faster and who can bale the most bales

That lime cookies bubba though

seriously something special, this run looks like she has bulked more than usual, hopefully i can start dialing her in better and pulling better yields from the lime cookies bubba, in the past her finished quantity has been ultra-low, does't look the same this time tho....

end of week 7 now, most buds have wilting hairs turning orange... some of the apical buds are still white haired and seem to have another week or 2 in them
haven't scoped anything in the room yet, but around 8 full weeks is my general threshold. none of the strains this run should take longer than 8 weeks... and i got veg plants itching to veg in this big room
and
after this run in the big kiddie pools im entirely re-doing that room, pulling ALL the soil out and converting that media to a worm bedding, planning to get some rabbits and do rabbit hutches over worm bins... that perpetual worm casting factory
after emptied out the room will have all intake fans re-arranged, plastic floor and old carpet pulled up, maybe a paint job on the walls (killz ftw)....
hopefully i can get some plants back in there to bloom within a few weeks

crystals forming in the jar:
picture.php

picture.php

^ conceptually those are THCa crystals precipitating out of the solution
i picked one out and dried it... and tried it
had very little flavor and was very very smooth, packed a decent buzz for such a small dab

not sure exactly what comes next in this process
i'm thinking eventually i'll tilt the jar and let the viscous darker portion drain to one side, then scoop out the "crystal layer" that is on the bottom of the jar; and finally will purge them to completion separately
