I haven't puffed on any yet as I try to let them jar cure a little before getting into them. Regarding smell right now I can definitely see what you were talking about regarding the aromatic wood type of smell. I don't know about Cedar as is right now but I could see it curing that way. It's odd but it makes me think of the Dank Zappa some with some of that laundry detergent, handsoap kind of smell but not all obnoxious with it like the DZ.

^ trellis shot, catpiss moontang front right white 99 taller in the back on right, the gap in the front center will be filled with a dosidos x floscout tester or a catpiss moontang x flo scout tester, waiting for something to show sex before giving it prime space in the canopy
trying to trim out all the inner branches and minor nodes beneath the first net

^^ canopy shot of the cornbread, also can see some of the seed moms that are finishing around the outside edge of the canopy

^^ Prepping for pesto season, so here are a ton of lil baby basil starts

^ also on the edge of the canopy i have hanging a bread tin with my 3 entries into the yogurt cup challenge chilling in it... so far so good with these little ones!

forgot to mention, upon trimming up all the herb from the kiddie pool tent; found some seeds - catpiss moontang x sour bubble, lime cookies bubba x sour bubble, trapper creek x sour bubble

i guess my side-by-side tent experiment was NOT as fool proof as i thought. buds are still solid and dense and only a seed or 2 at the very base of some of them.

That pollen just gets around and every where and any where. You almost need to set up a room with a positive air pressure that has been HEPA filtered to avoid stray pollen, but there is still a chance of pollen being transferred when ever you open your tent to take care of your plants.

ya i still think it can be done using proper timing
my male was still blowing at the beginning week 2 of the other tent, should have delayed the bloom of those kiddie pool tents by another week an i think the male would have been done by then
or i could have just killed the male a lil bit sooner

been busy beyond belief lately..... sourcing bulk soil for outdoor, as well as amendment materials
dealing with some investor types for the hemp crop, only seeking low levels of investment for shares of the crop
buying tools for breaking ground and gardening; gotta go w the lifetime guarantee on everything because im really hard on tools generally
bought a shitty lil trailer (2-3 yards, old pickup bed with a hitch) for hauling dirt.... did the math and what it cost me for the trailer was just a lil more than the cost of hauling one load 50 miles. THEN the guy with the trailer smelled our indoor weed... now i'm getting the trailer for 100$ cash and a half ounce of the catpiss x moontang :D

got a farm worker doing work trade lately also, been prepping the yard for digging ganja holes, raking the other yards prepping for veggie beds, building compost piles, and generally cleaning up the property

about to start building raised beds in the front yard using native stone that was cleared from the feilds long ago (black lava rock).

here is a rough estimation of the soil mix going in holes for outdoor this year:
12 yards of the dankest topsoil in colorado
5 yards pumice
2 yards compost
2 yards earth worm castings
amendments; fish bone meal, calphos, azomite, oyster shell meal, glacial rock dust, kelp, crustacean meal, fish aminos, kashi, alfalfa, calcium sulfate
per 21 yards of base mix: per 21 yards of base: 80 lbs kelp, 80 lbs crustacean 80 lbs oyster shell, 200 lbs glacial rock dust, 30 lbs alfalfa, 80 lbs oyster shell meal, 80 lbs fish bone meal, 40 lbs calphos, 100 lbs calcium sulfate, up to 3% kashi

got this local guy who sells composted organic chicken manure super cheap; might get some of that AND some super chunky wood chip compost and mix them
also getting locally made worm casting from a biodynamic farmer who has been growing out in this area since the early 80s

feels like i'm about to pull the trigger on the hemp thing and go all out
got a tractor guy coming today to look at the field and give estimate fo marking the currogates (lil mini ditches where water flows from main ditch to irrigate field) then breaking ground on the rows using heavy "breaker" plow, and finally strip till the rows that have been broken

got some exciting OTHER crops i'm going to growing in addition to the food and hemp; not sure if i can let the cat out the bag on all that yet... let's just call it a "salve garden"
looks like i will already have some of these crops SOLD come harvest time - drawing up some contracts with buyers so that i know that at the end of the season i have income off the field (before it's even fully planted at beginning of season)

shits gettin real, going to start looking like a farm out here for real....

big room downstairs with the big kiddie pools is about mid week 3 now, green mulch is coming up thick, worms are happy
will grab some pics of downstairs one of these evenings
