sadly i had to kill the Silver Grapefruit Minion City Diesel x Sour Bubble (labeled SGSB) tonight, the plant was showing both sexes HARD; i'm talking calyx's & hairs and ball sacks all popping right away...

canopy of the SGSB before it was cut down;

so i vegged that bitch for 10 weeks just for her to go all sexually confused when the time to shine came.... the room is dark as moonless night when lites are out and timers are all on point, temps are in range and the plant appeared generally healthy and vigorous, so im pretty sure it's not environmental issue causing the plant to act all monoecious
that's what happens when testing seedstock i suppose, i had high hopes for that SGSB also; hopefully won't lose any others to intersex/hermy.

Maybe it was just the one? I popped 9 F2 beans for the outdoors run this spring and didn't have the time to presex them. I got 9 of 9 healthy males. That is bending the odds way too far. Thank Karma I decided to regenerate a couple females from the winter run so I will have some smoke later. The buds on them are starting to show and they are typical Sativa.

Lookin good avi...it's always a bummer to have a problem after a long veg. You can't really just throw in a replacement clone to fill the space. In all of the 100's of seeds I've popped I've only had 2 go full blown hermie on me, and they were from the same pack-also with an extended veg leaving a gaping hole in the canopy. Plants look happy and healthy homie! I'll be lurking quietly, as always

no pollen released at all.... everything safe

the sgsb is dead and didn't even leave that big of a hole in the canopy because the monster size dosido could spread out and fill in the gap

4 lights and 16 plants at 10 weeks veg.... i can afford to lose one i think, glad the stretchy dosidos could reach over and fill in the blank space left by the intersex SGSB

next male up is a bubbajam (bubba kush x jazzberry Jam) stood out for being super short and squat and made larger nugs than other indica dominant plants; also had a fruity earthy kush smell in females. BubbaJam currently pollinating several females including the hi-yield groundpounder purps (purple afghan), DJ Short F13, Glue, and others
soon after the flo x GSC male will get his chance... still picking females for that run

next round is lined up, has been vegging for 10 weeks, a little bit over vegged but just what i had to do
4 kiddie pools with one light (mixed 600 & 1k) directly centered over each pool plus a 1k w in the very center of the room, strains: gorilla glue 4, Miles Bubba Kush (BK x white widow), Silver Grapefruit Minion City Diesel x Sour Bubble, Daywrecker Headband, Dosidos, Twista, Canna-Tsu, Mt. Trogger bx ( ( Flo x Ox ) x Flo), Lemon Larry OG x Lemon Larry OG Skunk, Norcal Catpiss x Moontang, 24k White by Karma, WoCa (the white x dj short Coca Kushf2)
In the very center of the room, directly beneath the center 1k w light there is a Lime Cookies Bubba in a 10 gallon pot

2 layers of trellis netting about 18 inches apart vertically and about 2/3 of the room is wrapped in reflectix hanging at canopy level.

2 window units and a 12 inch intake keep the room nice at around 75-78f. also have an 8inch exhaust which i would like to set on a thermostat so it only runs if / when needed

yhea, i'm definitely looking for a male or 2 from this batch of seeds, would love it to be a DCf2.... by the time these are ready to sex I'll be done with the floscout and Sourbubble pollinations and who knows what else.
hardly ever on ig, but yes, trying to use it a lil more...

^dosidos stretching like there is no tomorrow, she stretched so hard toward the 1k w bulb, i had to raise it, she kept on stretching closer, so i shuffled some ballasts and bulbs around and now there is a 600w over the dosisdos so she can get a lil closer without heat issues.

^^ Catpiss x moontang, no stretch issues with her, nice and tight node spaceing, great structure and stank, possibly the most vigorous plant in the room this round so far

^^ Mt. Trogger bx, (flo x ox) x flo

^^ multiplying lacto and em1 for fermentations, compost acceluration and more.....

^^ Next male to hit the breeding chamber will be the floscout (thank you C4)
flipping some females in the pollination chamger before flipping the male: dosidos, trapper creek, catpiss moontang, hopefully a mt. trogger, and more....

so far all i can say is that dosidos frosts up earlier and harder early..... dosidos stretches alot, 2.0 hardly stretched at all last run for me or outdoor, no stretch hardly which ime is pretty unusual for a cookie type.

We gotta get u the dosidos cut so u can decide soon

finally replaced the broken lense on the canon t5, and have fam visiting with their canon t2i
so i have options right now.
felt naked and useless for a lil while without the good camera fixed in time for "frost season"
