time to show some flowers, just starting to really set, it's middle of the 4th week of bloom:

^ OGKB2.0, stacking up nicely and already smelling of stanky berries, you can see the 860w CMH Vert just firing up behind the plant
as of right now to control temps i have the vert CMH striking up for the first 2 hours, 90 mins in the HPS begin cranking on, by the time the 2 hours is up and the CMH turns OFF, all 4 of the 1kw HPS are all on. i do this to control temps, keep them from spiking while intake air is still not entirely "night-time cool".
also, at the END of the light cycle i do the same thing, CMH turns on 30 mins before the HPS all turn off, then the last 90 mins of the 12 hour flowering cycle is ONLY the CMH vert burning to keep temps cool when intake air is not as cool as it could/should be.
i figure this accomplishes more while running less power than if i installed one of the in-room ac units i have sitting around.

^^ canopy of gorilla glue #4
bottom left corner of this picture you can see the catpiss x elmers glue fire cookies

^ breeding area, currently the mini-kiddie pool is full of females all pollinated by gorilla glue x moontang male; not shown is the jabbas stash f2's being made. the 2 biggerpots are "next up" - one catpiss elmers glue fire cookies male with a harem of ladies, the other a dj short blueberry f2 male with a couple blueberry f2 females in the mix with it along with another small harem of breeding ladies.

^^ also "next up";
this is a glue in a full size kiddie pool, being tied down and out after being topped for clones

Gettin' after it  My Glue in the baby greenhouse is starting to look like the one in the kiddie pool. I keep cleaning it up and pulling suckers as it's stretching.

You're going to love that OGKB 2.0. I'm curious to see how it stacks up against Dosidos.

What do you do with the straw after you harvest?

either compost or mix it right into my soil depending how quickly it breaks down. so far i've noticed the barley straw is slower to break down than the alfalfa hay i used last year, and perhaps the alfalfa made a better barrier to keep moisture in, maybe i just used more of it....

please excuse the puple-ish LED light (and the mite damage, altho i'm pretty happy with how under control they are for the amount of damage they left). i'm considering taking the LED down and using 2x 8 bulb 4 ft t5's in the breeding tent - i have a feeling they will create less heat than the LED (been getting into high 80's in the breeding tent).

haven't taken that plunge yet into predator mites or buying beneficial insects.... soon tho.
im thinkin rove beetles first, then I'll try to establish the californicus or persimilis or something like that, maybe stethorus punctillus, not sure yet.
all i know is that for now i have to keep upkeep and spray regularly (haven't had to in bloom as much, altho they are there, not as much of an issue). admittedly they are the worst in the breeding tent which reaches the highest temps, getting easily into 80's when lites are out and it's 100 outside, and probably touching 90's with lites on when it's dark outside but hardly gets below 65 at nite outside....
indoor ac unit might be the answer for the breeding tent, if changing the lites out doesn't do it. because this LED really only lites up half the tent, and the 2x t5 setups would likely lite the entire tent.
how much would i like to throw 2x CMH 315's in there and let them go to town on the seed tent? well, file that also under "haven't taken the plunge".

You should try to keep californicus or persimilis with the males... they'll need pollen...
(you can also try to buy powdered honeybee pollen...)

they need the pollen to survive, even if there are bugs for them to eat? that makes me want the stethorus more.... can't imagine having to supplement honeybee pollen to keep my predators alive.

stethorus too... in absence of prey, you'll need pollen.
I recommend pollen either way to give the predators an abundance of food so their population can grow rapidly...

I haven't been in here in a while, you got a lot going on homie. Ive got some catching up to do. I see you have a gg4 x moontang male you are playing with. I'm currently growing out a couple bodhi chem '91 x's including moontang. Did you grow out ant moontang females and if yes, how did they turn out?

nope, i haven't grown the moontang, i was gifted seeds that were made with a moontang male and have been growing several of them out (catpiss x moontang, gg4 x moontang). IIRC me & my peeps got the elmers glue x fire cookies seeds from the same person. (kalyx iirc?)

speaking of which.... the catpiss x elmers glue fire cookies in bloom are looking awesome, very large swollen nugs at week 5, considerably larger than most other strains in the room and frosty as hell. comparable to the khalisi x sour bubble keeper pheno, def higher yeilding than the one keeper of catpiss x moontang i have.

next round is lined up, has been vegging for 10 weeks, a little bit over vegged but just what i had to do
4 kiddie pools with one light (mixed 600 & 1k) directly centered over each pool plus a 1k w in the very center of the room, strains: gorilla glue 4, Miles Bubba Kush (BK x white widow), Silver Grapefruit Minion City Diesel x Sour Bubble, Daywrecker Headband, Dosidos, Twista, Canna-Tsu, Mt. Trogger bx ( ( Flo x Ox ) x Flo), Lemon Larry OG x Lemon Larry OG Skunk, Norcal Catpiss x Moontang, 24k White by Karma, WoCa (the white x dj short Coca Kushf2)
In the very center of the room, directly beneath the center 1k w light there is a Lime Cookies Bubba in a 10 gallon pot

2 layers of trellis netting about 18 inches apart vertically and about 2/3 of the room is wrapped in reflectix hanging at canopy level.

2 window units and a 12 inch intake keep the room nice at around 75-78f. also have an 8inch exhaust which i would like to set on a thermostat so it only runs if / when needed
