Ron Paul will destroy the future of the Republican party if he is forced to run third party.

i get on my knees and pray for this each and every night :tiphat:

this is exactly what the scattered fuckin brained GOP needs... they are so fucked up they could easily splinter into several different parties...

Tea Party
Social Conservatives
Neo-Cons
Libs pretending to be repugs...
moderates
evangelicals
the 1%'ers
fiscal conservatives <-- what happened to these guys... :dunno:

need i go on? the GOP has lost their way... the dems ain't no better

i so desire 3 or more parties in this fucked up system...

some day the people will rule again, but i am afraid it's gonna be total chaos before that happens again...

Hell yeah, I think they should regulate weed like wine. If I can make my own wine, I could grow my own weed.
this is precisely what would happen if federal prohibition were removed.
only two states still have laws(unenforced since the 50s)prohibiting home brewing for personal consumption...
even in dry counties home brew is legal(however on indian reservations it is still prohibited)
i suppose you espouse a constitutional amendment insuring every american the right to grow?
sorry not gonna happen nor should it.
we have a 10th amendment that covers that already.
IMO municipalities/counties should have the ability to go dry if they so chose. however the 4th protects their privacy to do as they see fit in their homes.

You forgot the Illuminati.

I watched Rand Paul say his dad won't go independent. IMHO, he's telling the truth. The libertarian party has never enjoyed a majority in modern politics. Persuading Republicans to embrace more Libertarian principles might be the more direct approach.
I would agree but if they are stealing the elections through out the process AND there is really no common ground for Ron Paul and Romney then he may do it. He has never ruled it out but I don't see Ron Paul selling out his support to save his son's career as a R because without the RP supports flocking to Rand he would not have a career. RP's entire philosophy it to stop the out of control spending and that means ending the WARS that all the others want to continue plus getting the FED under control. He knows what he is up against, see above list that I added to.

Mitt and Ron aren't antagonizing each other. They have a truce on negative advertising. The article is posted here a few pages back.

I realize that doesn't necessarily mean squat but it was an interesting read.

Joker is on the prowel.....

Joker is on the prowel.....

As posted before.... It would not be in Ron Paul's best interest to state he will run as an Independent if he does not secure the Republican nomination. He is still running a campaign as a Republican after all.

If he does break away and run as an Independent it would most likely result as a division of the voters who "make up" the Republicans at present. Many who are registered as Republicans at present are defected Independents and defected Democrats such as myself, who would rather chew our arm off than vote for Romney, Gingrich, or Santorum. I don't know if it has been posted yet but:

Not only did the Joker lie to us about "Our Cause" ...... he signed a signed a bill that eradicated the Constitution and Bill of Rights in one pen swipe. NDAA....... treasons criminals!

while i have no proof that certain gop officials are 'selling' their states caucus results to highest bidder, which seems to be romney but maybe he bought santorum a few to try and throw people off his trail, something just doesn't sit right with me on how CO and MN both went for santorum.
the good news is you can buy all the pieces of paper you want, but that doesn't equate to delegates going to tampa.

Not to mention he wouldn't make weed legal nationally. He'd leave it up to the states.

which would still leave voters in 30 something states in exactly the position they are in now ........... anyone who actually believes that there are no local politicians trying to undermine MMJ laws in colorado has not been paying attention to what goes on here ........ if the smart fuckers who wrote amendment 20 had not linked MMJ with the state constitution the local "anti MMJ crowd " would have killed the whole thing when the dispensary question came up.

unfortunately RP would run into the "anti MMJ crowd" at a national level, and get no backing at all. we won't see a "feds will leave states rights alone" amendment pass the hallowed halls of congress/senate any time soon ......... that is not to say RP would not try, it is a simple observation of the rampant "cockblockery" in washington

Voters are partly responsible for the fiscal mess we're in. We demand what we've paid into (even if it means modified benefit). Then one side tries to end programs that 3 out of every 4 of us want. We say no.

So they try to break it and we keep voting them into office.

yes we do ....... even after they make it pretty clear that they are bought and sold we are forced to decide if we like giant douche or turd sandwich better

Humans are flawed - it's our nature. But even if we don't recognize all our respective flaws, we're pretty good at seeing others'. That's why we implement systems to mitigate transgressions (and even honest mistakes.)

These systems are being bought and dismantled. We'll endure enough shit to do something about it, I'm just not sure how long it'll take.

i agree with the second part 100% ......... and realize i was wrong to use the word flaw in the first place. humans are flawed, but we are not talking about humans. we are talking about all the glad handing two faced zealot gas bags that inhabit washington d.c.. what i should have said is that each and every candidate is full of shit, but.........

i was talking about RP being flawed. i don't see him like i do other politicians. he does seem to mean well but i just don't see how he can think the system he has worked in for a long time is going to change. FWIW i hope his faith in the system proves my absolute disdain for the system wrong ....... otherwise it's gonna be a very bumpy stretch of road coming up real soon here

i beleive maine is the next stop, and help is needed im not sure at the number of deligates to be awarded but if you vote stay after to become a deligate for RP.

other ways to help- from the liberty forums:

Romney is kicking into top gear in Maine now that he was drubbed on Tuesday. He has a huge longstanding network amongst the political establishment and will be in Maine himself starting tomorrow. Maine is going to be HARD TO WIN and we need
EVERY HAND ON DECK

What you can do:

1. Facebook ads - people can get a free facebook credit for $50 by following the intsructions here: http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthr...E-Ron-Paul-ads! It is EASY. It takes MOMENTS to get the coupon!! I have my coupon and am ready to go when my ad is complete.

Facebook ads can be TARGETED by age and inside the very cities where we need them to maximize the value of the $50 credit, because each click costs money against the credit. The following LINK can be attached to Ron's website where caucus information can be found: www.RonPaul2012.com/caucus

While there are many caucuses, the big ones where when Romney hopes to wipe out any gains Ron Paul has made are on the 'Super Saturday' in the following counties and cities:

County / Town or City
Cumberland / Portland*
York / Sanford
Oxford / Fryburg AND Denmark
Washington / East Machias
Androscoggin / Lewiston
Hancock / Ellsworth AND Bucksworth

* Portland is huge, which is why Romney is speaking there Friday hoping to wipe out and swamp any gains Ron has made in more rural caucuses

ADS COULD BE VERY SIMPLE -

Caucus for RON PAUL Saturday, FEBRUARY 11, 2012
NOW IS THE TIME -CAUCUS FOR HONEST GOVERNMENT
Click for Details
and attach link: www.RonPaul2012.com/caucus

I have heard if you add a picture it needs to be little and you need to have it ready when you go to do your ad, so you get that and your coupon code and do your ad. I will update this with the picture size requirement when I find that thread. PLEASE POST IDEAS/GRAPHICS/PICS for ads below. I am no designer, I freely admit! We need everyone's ideas and talents! But we don't want to spend a lot on a lot of text, keep that for newspaper ads, and THAT will depend on chip ins if people are willing to do that. The facebook ads, you can get a $50 credit for free. NOTE the instructions in the link that if you want it capped at that you have to put in the amount as lifetime cap. The instructions are in the link: http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthr...E-Ron-Paul-ads!

2. NEWSPAPER ADS (Could run chip ins for this)
Again, the towns needed are above but we need people to find out if the papers are weekly or daily and if ads would actually get in in time to help. If people will say if they would be willing to chip in for this, others could do that footwork. A link to check this information is at ----> www.usnpl.com/menews.php

3. Phone from Home:

!!!ALL HANDS ON DECK!!!
