Dang dude, you're wrecking shop. I like to take mine a little bit later than most other people, but when I was younger I probably would've already chopped that. 63 days will be a good call, nowadays I smoke a lot less and like to not feel like I tied my shoelaces to an F-16 every time I toke.

Thank you brother! Genuinely appreciate that.

Yeah, I was all too often that guy chopping em at least a tad early. This time around I'm pulling in stages. 1 already went at day 56. This girl will probably be 63, another will go to 70. I want to see what sort of difference there is in the 3, both at trich level and in the yield/smoke. She doesnt even have her stigmas turning darker red-brown yet either.. and she looks gorgeous at that stage. I'm digging what tissue culture did for her so far. Seems to be improved in a lot of areas.

Beautiful plant and great photo skills. I notice there are not any fan leaves. What are your thoughts on defoliation?

I cut them off right before harvest. The light stress it brings to the plant seems to push it a little further the last few days. Some strains hate it though..

However, I am a firm believer in stripping almost all fan leaves at the flip, and another defoliation around 21 days in. Opening up the canopy, and giving plants the extra stress hormones that send them into overdrive is fun.

You're very welcome! :)

Also, to everyone.. Im super excited to announce that if you're in California and like clones Dark Heart Nursery has just gone public with our Romulan cut. They will be doing further announcements about the release, which Im sure will take some time to roll out to all areas. Until then, we are releasing our feminized seeds in September, which is the same tissue cultured clone, reversed and made into fem'd beans.

Here is a link to DHN's listing for our Rom:

Did you do the tissue culture yourself, or did DHN help you out with that? Tissue culture is great for refreshing these old cuts.

DHN did it in their lab, right after it was finished being built. I have plans to try it in my own with some Schrom that was sent to me. It actually seems fairly straightforward, but I'll find out. Gotta have a clean room first, so itll take me a bit. And as far as how the Romulan came out, it was a big improvement. Totally reinvigorated the girl. Bigger yields, more vigor, etc..

No doubt that`s some impressive nuggage Bro.....Respect.....went and looked at DHN`s page and read the history of this strain and I`ve gotta say goin back to Korean war vets and the beginnings of biker gangs/excuse me motorcycle clubs , with a network up and down the west coast makes me wonder why you chose this particular strain to work if it was so widespread from the beginning of weed history so to speak .....or was it ?....

Don`t get me wrong , I think preservation of said genetics is very praise worthy and wish you nothing but "live long and prosper".....Thanks for your time and look forward to all future projects...…

Peace.....DHF.....:ying: …...

Went and read your page Bro......The work done to help vet ptsd is more than admirable......My son`s military now and one of his best bro`s got fired from his LEO job cuz of all the meds the VA had his ass on while tryin to protect and serve the public.....bottom line …..my boy`s bro was zombied out on ptsd meds and couldn`t perform daily functions.....that`s how bad prescription shit is...…

After he got fired , I gave him some of my stash without my boy knowin bout it and a week later he called me and begged for more.....said he`d not felt human like that in a long time.....and of course I said come get it.....anyways.....

Respect....can`t say it enough....especially for vets that can`t cope......regardless...Thanks for your time.....

Our feminzed Romulan is getting released on Monday, over on our website.

Hopefully, we can find some seedbanks that are interested in carrying our gear soon here. ;)

Anyone know any seedbanks that might be looking to carry Romulan?
