Revival of the Ultimate Sativa Thread

I hate to be a thread de-railer, but I have a huuuge interest in sativas and was hoping for a bit of advice - I figured this would be as good a place to ask as any. What would be the best (mostly) pure sativa for an indoor small scale (400W) personal medical grower? I don't mind being patient, but 20 weeks or less of flower would be ideal, as would a decent yield. Maybe Mr. Nice SSH? Cannabiogen's Destroyer? I've never had a pure sativa, and I know I won't find it in any commercially grown herb.

Thanks in advance for the input!

Ace Panama fits your needs and is an awesome smoke too, comparable to many of the stronger hybrids. Great range of flavors and colors as well. Id start there.

Thanks for the suggestion! Would you consider it as good as or better (for an indoor grower) than Destroyer or SSH (my two other candidates)?

Those ones that mold that early not good. What you going to do with them? What type of soil mix you use? Aloha DB

plain compost and dirt mix nothing special,
im done with them, dont understand why only zamaldelica started molding so bad especially in this very early stage. had high hopes towards mold and cold resistance ...
also very prone to powdery mildew in case of Z1, Z5

What a shame with the Zamals. Did you use any preventive measures when comes to mold/mildew?

No nothing special, I just try to keep them green and K/Ca/Mg levels up till harvest, removal of lowest branches and those that grow inwards, no good idea to foliar anything 'preventive' when humidity does not allow them to dry off at all ...
I have some indica dominant 'indoor' strains in the same location that show not a single bit of mold.
This was very unusual climate here for august and september- very wet and cold , now comes a warm october, maybe:biggrin:

:tiphat: That is nice for sure. Where may I find some Oaxaca Mexican seeds at?

There are exotic commercial strains named Mextiza and Red Snake from Cannabiogen that people love, and they have some of the prettiest buds. I have a feeling that more are in the works, since Charlie Garcia has been posting several Oaxacan and Oaxacan crosses on the Panama and other S. American Strains thread. El Dorado is another that has Oaxacan in it, and is supposed to be very good if you find the right phenotype. Otherwise, you need to know someone that travels down there. I hear the surfing is good down on the Oaxacan coast.

Beautiful Oaxacan ThaiBliss! I love the dreads.
Is that the Oaxaca 79?
I highly recommend Red Snake if CBG has those up for purchase. I'm smoking some six months cured and it's very potent and delicious. Also is a very foxtailing variety from the Oaxaca 79 mom.
Really you can't go wrong with any of CBG's sativa selections.

The bud I posted is a privately collected Copalita Oaxacan. I didn't know that the 79 fox-tailed. All the pictures I see of it are the most beautifully formed almost perfect buds.

Well the Culebra Rojo foxtailed quite a bit in most phenos I found. I figured it was from the Oaxaca 79 not the Punto Rojo.
