If you haven't seen it yet, check out Tangwena's thread on cob curing. It sounds like you got a taste. I'm definitely going to give it a shot with my next harvest.

Yep, I've tried the cobb method, even put a couple of pics in that thread of my cobbed Kali Mist. I've also cobbed Aces Malawi. It certainly changes things. Speeds up the curing a heap. I've even tried eating cobs like Tangwena does and it works! I still have a few reservations (fears about the process) but am going to do it again. I have some Ace purple haze going that I will try cobbing in a few months.

Cobbing turns good buds into great cobs, and great buds into excellent cobs. Cobs>regular bag/jar cured method. The heat/fermentation cure accelerates the natural method of curing.

Yeah, the cobs do look ugly compared to a gorgeous crystal laden bud, but once you try out a good cob, you'll be hooked.

Great shots and plants stoney917. Looks like you are using hps ever use metal halide or white LED for the sativas? Really not sure if it helps or not but I do it.

Where did you get the Panama Red at? I just got done with a Guerrero x Panama Red and it smokes just like the Colombian Red I had back in '78. Dense stone as opposed to just a clear head high. Not sure if late 70's Panama Red is just Colombian Red? Or if there ever was a difference.

Theres a 1000w halide in the room somewhere, in a firm believer in mixing the spectrum most of the time... just got some lep lights to play with next run just gotta figure out the best way to set them up in my layout. My red well to make a long story short I was gifted a ton of 60s 70s seeds from a good friend who had them given to him...was told they were dead not gonna pop so. I tossed a few handfuls in some dirt out of 2 attempts I Had 6 show , 3 made it into flower 1 made it out n was growable she still is good at 12-14 wks but the longer the better I like the 16-18 range better for my preference.. Had her around 5 years now she is really sumthin special ,

She is super flavorful but not easy to describe... I would say a women's perfume , leather, cinnamon spice incense with some kind of sharp bite maybe a lemon pine but not really some thing more like a lemon cedar pine tree not a cleaner like a og or anything sweet like skunk,,, n she is super stank no surprises smells exactly like she tastes n her high is where she really shines, she is strong n best describe is a roller coaster, more like an out of control elevator , brings ya up at first gets ya motivated but stupid so your all awake and come up with a plan then get up to execute it n bam realize what ever your gonna do gotta wait cause your stupid ass backward sweeping with a mop or other dumb shit like looking for a tool for n hr...it turns ya into a very happy drunken motivated idiot untill u realize what ya got n don't try n do anything just chill out watch ya game on tv n enjoy the ride which lasts... Now her oil hash is next level my wife accuses me of sniffing when I smoke it.. Ya brain just spins in circles n ya can't shut the fun up babbling on nonsensical shit.,,her down fall is bag appeal although her frost levels n smells n effects are 10s her buds are not og or cookies , often to wild when it comes to market unfortunately I live in kushland . she grows monstrous n stretches pretty much 70days if not endlessly. Branches out everywhere with bud sites .. yields tons aswell...

Here are my panama fem girls Ace&Cbg. they are 12 weeks into flowering and will need a few more weeks until the showdown.
red and green phenos are present with a higher ratio of reds in cbg panamas. they are both excellent in terms of vigor,quality and production.
smells of lemon are dominant,with incense aromas coming upwards when squeezed. i love this strain cause it has the whole pack but first of all it's about the quality of the flowers and the high..

I couldn't agree more , its never been high on my priority list for my personal smoke. But unfortunately Id say 95% of smokers have small minds n only smoke what they are told to by the masses. Celebrity instagram etc.... Monthly runnin costs are high n gotta get paid n og does that easy ... A lot of my friends call me stupid but I consider myself lucky n spoiled I still can dedicate a room for these girls...

Hey Ncali, Ive had her now for years... I dropped a whole pack (10 seeds) of really old seeds with the intention of making F2's, but, only one seed was viable, and shes the girl in the pics. I dont count her days anymore, but, shes around the 10 week mark. Thanks for the compliments!

Now, I have a question for indoor pure sativa/nld growers... Can the lack of adequate light cause clawing and canoeing? I noticed that certain leaves suffering these symptoms actually unrolled when (a) she got a watering then (b) her affected areas were pushed closer to the light... Ive never seen leaves "fix" themselves before, but, I usually get clawing from mistakes like overferting and heat...
