males of black lime reserve would be extremely rare , is it possibly from seed i,ve passed ? i have feeling there will be a lot of black lime crosses getting around really soon . it normally adds mega lime terps i,ve made a lot of crosses with her and him , sure you will enjoy his pollen

does anyone know any good places for columbians , my trail went dead . i was told panama is pretty close ? i,m not really savvy with linages at this point .
i grew this last season and i,m keen to do a hybrid if i can find a columbian , think 82 was mentioned too me but there long gone . i have the ace panama breeders pack all at 2 foot atm and about 30 males of all different varieties landrace and high dollar hybrids

columbian x chem d , hope i,m not photo bombing too much ..... i know you guys normally pretty full blood sativa here ?

From all my reading... I'd say Panama is solid, but going for Mr.Nice Nevilles haze or Aces Oldtimer's Haze would be the crazy sexy thing to do for male\female gems.
Really thinking about going for Mr.Nice NL x Haze or Nevilles if money allows. Ive waited forever now.

cannabiogen's punto rojo is highly rated as an excellent Colombo strain. i'm not up to speed on the colombos currently available but punta roja cbg is Colombo.

Your selection of ace's killer frosty Malawi for potency, frost, hybrid vigor, extreme hardiness was excellent imo. you are hip to the terps and blr was an excellent pairing imo.

you are looking for a strain that is great breeding material for size/hybrid vigor, mold resistance, terps, good puff, bag appeal, etc. if i'm not mistaken. I would seriously look at ace's purple haze. You can look at the undersides of the seedlings first true leaves for purple coloration, seedling meristem and petioles to quickly determine likely purple candidates/phenos. makes the selection process much easier.. p haze is either pure punto rojo colombo or a pr hybrid. blackberry liquor terps. here's two great threads with tons of info:

question for sam the skunkman on the original haze: https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=82182

ace old timers haze: https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=59801

I grew some oldtimer's haze years ago. It was different then the other haze lines I was also running also. It was very good if I remember correctly. I think I made several crosses with it, and still have the seeds

That Black Lime looks insane, bet she is special. Seeds available? Would be a pleasure to grow it.

Oldtimer's Haze is by far my holy grail. Out of everything I've done, nothing really touches her. 24 weeks was well worth the wait. Going to pop all my Purple Haze, Green Haze and OTH seeds in a few months.

HAWIIAN X MULANJE X MULANJE About 9 weeks 10 hour light cycle.

Hello Samson,
This one PG 104 has been and currently being grown outside. I bring her in to take pics. For less intense light. pure sativa strains bud up great with short daylight hours. The smoke is wonderful, and very potent. Todays UV index is 8.
That being said the flower to leaf ratio is a bit lower than indoors.

Who here grows sativa outside during the winter to spring? How did you like the herb?

If you can grow sativa in winter I think the summer here is worse than your winter...
Cooler temps = less terpene evaporation?..
More rain = Less dust/dirt on buds...

Thinking positive lol.

I thought I would ask this question here.

Has anyone heard of El Dorado Oaxacan by Spartacus? The descrition says they finish late november/early december. What would the indoor flowering time be? Great thread, an props to all Sativa lovers.

G `day S4

I do most winters .
Haze and Sat hybrids . Days 10.5 hours mid winter . Less bugs , less watering .
Flowers are not as tight with the winter sun , compared to Autumn .

Thanks for sharin

i have quite a lot where i live ,
back in the old days before the earlier indica was added ,
occasionally some plants would ripen that time of year ,
well enough to get something ,, not fully ripen ....

ive tried many times with hybrids ,
quite successful ...

the more sativa ,, the nicer it is in the "right" time of year ,
and the winter/spring example is a poor substitute,
cant rush good things ....

vermontman, how is your potency versus indoor?

Zitz, haha I'm always positive about an extra harvest. It is easier for me during the winter. I only do two things differently; I don't train the buds because height usually isn't a factor, and I keep them in pots so they can come indoors during bad weather. I don't have the usual summer/fall problems. Bad weather does include tornado and intense wind though.

Elmer Bud, do you stick with sativas during winter? Also, is the winter grow purely for fun or necessity?

Donald Mallard, how late were you taking your winter grows? Do you consider it more trouble than it is worth?

So when do you good folks put your winter plants out to flower? I try to flower from February to May. This gives me about 17 weeks to finish a plant. Is this about what everyone does?
