Don't see Grinspoon very often. Another one that can have a peculiar growth habit.
When did you purchase these seeds?
Do you remember where?
They are almost sold out everywhere.
Not sure they're gonna be restocked. Just a feeling, zero proof.

Did you ever grow out the French touch K1 seeds? Description says pure landrace from reunion. I kinda remember someone grew a pack out.

no, but I will. Donald's jungle monster has inspired me. remember outdoors one plant is still just one plant until harvested. monsters for legal reasons are very desirable.
^one of three purple (pheno #1), fritzman gn zamal reproductions that I have clones of. phenos 1,2,3 showed lots of purple on the first true leaves undersides and purple meristems, branches and petioles. no purple males yet for regular seed stock. #1 goes cold induced purple. #3 goes purple in the buds without "cold induced". #4 went "rainbow"; (purp, gold, red) in the buds without cold induced. so far all fritzman zamals are absolutely hermie free which is essential for outdoor commercial product imo.
all three Fritzman purple phenos show some wld influence. seeds are larger than what I would like. the Fritzman pepper, carrot and mango phenos have nld characteristics but all the Fritzman purps so far show wld traits to some extent.
The highs despite wld looking influence are very similar to Durban ( all head, electric, somewhat psychoactive). taste, smell, bag appeal looks wise all preferable imo to Durban for commercial appeal. ^#1 is frosting up but my camera isn't picking that up.
i'm focusing mostly on commercial strains atm and these Fritzman purplish Zamal phenos look promising for outdoor commercial hybrids. the litmus test is how they perform outdoors in my local outdoor environment. Zamal is great in hybrids outdoors from my previous outdoor zamal hybrid runs.

they were recently still available. I recently purchased one pack. I pm'd an ic member that posted a successful grow of Grinspoon and he said you had to pheno hunt a little ( easy hunt) for the keepers and that the keepers were excellent in all trait assessments.
I can't remember what seedbank I used.

I bought 2 packs, one I think I got from herbies over a year ago. When I found out I like the strain so much I bought another pack from cannapot, it was like the last pack in existence at that point. I was lucky to find one left at CP.
I emailed barneys a while ago asking why no stock anywhere and they said said the strain is discontinued but they were trying to remake it but had no idea when it would b available.
I have 3 more in veg right now, one of which I believe is the pearl pheno.

I was visiting the Sensi Seeds Shop in A dam . Kid in the shop was talkin Indica hybrids . I told him I prefer sativa hybs . His face lit up when he said go to Barnies and try the Grinspoon .
Bought a gram . Strong cerebral high . No body . Fell it in the face and skull .
Bag of calyxes ,no real buds .

I ran a grinspoon years ago, and I cant remember what the hell happened to it.
Hey Elmer, I think you would like Nevilles haze21 by Mullim Madness. Good flavor, all head high, giant plant. I need a bit of body in my high. Wish you lived closer Bro, Ive got so many crosses Id love to have you try. Ill be running some Haze crosses, and some sativas this year. I have a Sweet Tooth x Vietnamese Black that Im looking forward to planting maybe tomorrow, also some Mango Haze crosses. If there are still Mango Haze seeds available and you don't already have them, get them. Nevil told me the same, and Im glad I did. What a dynamite plant, and the males are awesome for seed stock.

It is very potent especially for having such a short flowering time. I have seen some serious haze heads say it is the best sativa in A dam, I concur it is right up there with the best sativas I have grown.

i know right , the grinspoon i,m seeing here , looks nothing like what i grew , i had xmas trees full of calyxes no buds basically . i made hash from them thinking i had duds or something .
go figure, would have traded for the pics i,ve seen here anyday .

was long time back , over 8 years . was 2 females both the same over 8 feet and 5 feet wide ..... the thought of trimming it was too much so yeah hashed them , did,nt smoke the hash .

heres a pic destroyer i have , 8 weeks old busting 8 + feet tall atm and still trucking . there,s a few more robust ones reaching 6 feet , much more solid frame ....... but i,m hitting a lower branch of this one and a robust one with cherry chem & another set of lowers with rose especial pollen ,

Smell: the jar is in your face tootsie rolls. Never experienced that indoors. The strong pepper smell seems to have morphed into chocolate candy (tootsie rolls). Sniff an individual bud and it's lemon lime soda with pine/balsam. Still makes the room smell like frankincense after a session.
