Yes, Punto Rojo often has the dominate aroma of mango/sweet tropical fruit. These phenos should yield a sensual, profound, and mildly trippy high.
I've been growing Cannabiogen Punto Rojo for several years and I've found all the aromas SamS mentions - Sweet tropical fruit / pepper / hash / root herbs / tree resins such as frankincense / floral / rose incense. There are about 5 -6 pheno-types in Cannabiogen Punto Rojo and an infinite number of "rainbow combination" of those pheno-types.
My thought is that if you get sweet tropical fruit dominate aromas from Original Haze and I get sweet tropical fruit dominate from Punto Rojo the highs should be similar. Especially since visually, your Original Haze is a dead ringer for Punto Rojo - green with red points on the calyxes.
Not much interest in names here, its all about the high. The aromas will mature and develop during a 4 month cure. The sweet tropical fruit aroma will become more spicy / pepper / hash when its fully cured.
