Vermontman, i for one am sick of you posting such super wonderful plants. It makes the rest of us look bad, and kills our growing confidence. Please stop.thank you.

;) hehe

HAHA! I just glanced at your Landrace linked thread, looking sharp to me. Will be checking that out further.

Lovely BSHW my friend, you seems to have found the Zacatecas phenotype...

BSHW lineage is Zacatecas purple x Afghani but I've always saw pics of this line where the Affie was more dominant in this cross.

Cheers !

Hello Third Eye!
And thank you, it was a privilege to get these from a gent that was pressed to do a repro on these so they were not lost.
I wish I could find pics of Zacatecas sativa, but there doesn't seem to be any available anywhere.

Man that's a pretty plant. Will the beans find their way to the public? It's on my short list of genetics to try and track down. That zijua purple aspect is what I am looking for, am rather fond of the town

Hey man!
Thank you.
It's a bit complicated but this preservation grow is to go back to the originator, Griot on another grow site.

I apologize.

Beautifull PS. You've reversed the Urkle to do a fem cross if I understand correctly ?

Thank you 3rd!
I wish you could smell her. The Purple Satellite has the cleanest cherry berry sweet smell I have encountered in cannabis in over 40 years.
Actually the Urkle is in seed form from Seedking.
I know Urkle has been clone only but after research I found a thread that claims these grown in a side by side with the clone, look identical. We shall see so far all 6 Urkle look very uniform and there was purpling under the first seedling leaves. Veg was slow as described now three weeks into flower, No purple yet but the smell is quite wonderful.
I am doing this to see if I can bring Purple Satellite indoors. After proving to be the earliest showiest highest quality outdoor pure Sativa I have ever seen this far north, She just does not like the 12/12 light regime conventionally provided in indoor grows, and will respond by putting out a nanner at the bud tips. Outdoors Purple satellite begins flower on two month veged plants in July on 42.3 degree latitude, under 15 hours and 33 minutes of sunlight, and will finish by Sept 18, with 12 hours and 21 minutes daylight.
Bringing plants in while well into flower mid August was fine. so to grow indoors you would need to follow this type of light regime. But I found the quality of the outdoor up north grown bud to be superior to her indoor grown siblings, and oddly enough reviled the quality of many indoor grown strains for bag appeal, fragrance and quality of high.

BIG SUR HOLY WEED REPRO.
The smell is amazing sweet with a hint of Lavender.
Anyone out there ever grow this one looks like she has lots of promise.
Three plants 10.5 daylight from seed.
Great plants everyone above!
ahoy v-man
i’ve got a bshw and some sages, all 8wks into a 11/13 light sched.
i was surprised at how sweet-smelling the bshw was
(it’s aromas are changing into something less sweet now).
instead of lavender tho’, was getting a grape-y smell, which i attributed to the indica side.
interestingly enough, a few of the sages had the exact same smell.
cheers

Sounds like a great garden. I have read Big Sur is in the Sage mix, so hat doesn't surprise. The early smell on my BSHW was very sweet also an could have been construed as berry, How does your BSHW look compared to what I am growing, do you have pics?

my bshw’s buds are more individualized, in that they don’t create that nice spear-like formation yours has.
aroma is moving into pencil eraser/fuel territory. buds, and their leaflets, are purpling.
it’s also the only plant that got hit (hard) by spider mites.
cheers

beanz

well they say more roots more fruits right ;)

can I grow it inside ,well you can grow anything inside ....but results will vary,
strain selection is one the most important things when growing to what your results will be and pot size ....

always reminding myself of where I can do better . thought I,d share

same plants , same soil , same water ....both healthy .
