Casey is a big yielder but in my opinion, it lacks in other areas. It's GOOD smoke...but it's not GREAT smoke. When you get used to the type of quality the F.A.M. has at our disposal, it's very easy to take a "keeper" plant by any other standards and toss it in the bin because chances are we've got something better that doesn't have any weaknesses.

P1 vs Casey - P1 will win EVERY time.

I Imagine casey by design is subject to pheno. It is such a mishmash of genetics really anything is possible. I have seen some dank as hell CJ, and I have seen some just so-so CJ. I have 2 varieties of CJ, devils harvest which is based off of Connoisseurs cut and Lou Dogs F3's. Lou had some of the best CJ phenos I have seen so I am confident between the 2 I will find something good. Its all a, matter of opinion, I had Fire OG good weed not my cup of tea and I wasnt crying when it died but to some that would have been the holy grail. I'd take schrom any day over OG, but thats just me.

I have 1 buddy who still runs that CJ.
He rolls blunts like its his job, so she fits the bill for him.
He likes the yields.
The smell and taste are what turned me off to her.
The best way i can describe it is disgusting.
Altho the man who was kind enough to spread that cut around is a true gentleman.

I have grown her myself from seed when h3ad dropped them way back when.
I had a good keeper myself, the potential is there.

Well interestingly enough ...

I grew that cut under differing conditions, one that sativa leaning plants preferred and ones that temperate strains preferred and it expressed like two different plants.

Grown in temperate conditions it was pretty nice pot, but didn't yield as much. Grown in warmer conditions it put out like a monster but the smoke was not the same.

It was as if the secondary metabolites where responding favorably to one set of temperature cues where the primaries responded better to a different set of temperature cues.


Basically if you get her cold at night she purples up and there is a snap to the buzz that doesn't show up when she isn't run that cold. Just wanted to add my .02

Ok, since you all are so great, I snapped some fast pictures for you today. I didn't take a whole lot of time so the lighting is kinda fucked, but it's just a preview. Bits of sawdust are from some predators I bought.
Hoping to keep the spider mites at bay so that I can have a stellar ending.
I've been having a problem with them coming back the last couple weeks of ripening.
