Sweet mother of mercy you're serious about this! THAT'S what I like to see! I'm gonna go to my plants scrogging in the closet now and soothe their egos. "It's okay, Daddy loves you too, he just ALSO loves mister Rootwise's plants."

Wow, it feels so good to be typing this......I've been down and out with a nasty flu bug. High fevers, delirious, cough, all the fun stuff! Glad I have the BEST wife in the world who took care of me....and the G-house! I'm still running a cylinder short, but I'll be 100% very soon....

Thanks big time to all who have stopped by, I'm working on a major update but you'll have to settle for this teaser for now...:D

High temps have proved productive! Here's a Witches Weed reaching for the morning light today...

See you all very soon!

Nice. I just got a Canon t1i and upgraded the standard lens to a Sigma 17-70mm. I am going to invest in a long lens later in the season. Just starting to learn the ins and outs of it. if I had the time I'd take some classes. Doobieduck needs to teach a ganja photography workshop in the off-season.

I've received much guidance from DD....and a few others on here too. My images have increasingly gotten better bit by bit...although they still are not what I'd call being totally happy with just yet.

I bought a new camera a few months back...and did so based on the same camera that DD uses....so I got a Canon EOS 50D with two lenses...one is a macro 60mm and the other is 18-135mm (both canon brand lenses), along with a macro ring light, tripod and remote shutter release. BUT....I'm still learning about changing f/stop and various settings to achieve the best image for the conditions.

The best equip can still fall short....when in the hands of someone such as myself that has too much camera and gear for their knowledge.

But I keep trying.....so I'm all for a camera workshop at the next IC 420 Cup, as that's the only place I'd feel comfy showing up for such a class, your idea is great! :ying:
