Lots of fun in here tonight and Dubbalicious--you know I love you too! Can't be serious in here ALL the time!! :)

Count me in on all of the above! Cliffside Negril in late Feb. is really nice....

As for a donation/event to benefit IC, let's brainstorm something really cool, I'm certainly in.

Dec/Jan is fine with me, as long as I get out and do something after this season!!

I've had beans popped since Feb 20 as well H-Local, but not next year...starting early/mid March.

HL never been to CR, have loads of CO/HI family down there, going down that way next winter to look at property and whatnot, maybe Panama. But I got peeps in the Osa, growing up in santa cruz and also having lived in HI, I love and miss the ocean, but the mtns are where I need to be for now.

I'm picturing Nomaad surfing in his little pink fairy unitard greenhouse tending uniform. (That ought to get him in here with some banter!:D)

I heard that green house is not all he tends to in that unitard...

Yeah bro, Mal Pais CR?? Cuz you know I'll already be down there!

When I was in Mal Pais I had a big fight with the girl I was traveling with and went out that night by myself and got black out drunk. The next day she told me I had gotten up in the night and pissed on my backpack. In my defense it was leaning up against a mirror so it may have looked like a toilet. Good times.:) Sober over a year and a half now.

Yeah bro, I'm not much of a drinker anymore myself, mirror/backpack, sounds like an honest mistake, haha:), yeah I got a couple of bro's that own rental houses side by side up on the hill overlooking the ocean, infinity pools and all!

That was a gorgeous town. Big full moon parties. I haven't been down there in ten years. Hopefully it is not like disney land by now. That is what I liked about the Osa Peninsula. Reminded me of where I grew up. Dirt roads, an hour or more to town, lots of pot growing hippies living in the jungle.

Looks like you guys had a fun night. Glad my spot in the tropics is not as blown up as the places you mention. There are still some secret places down there. The Osa is nice... we have deep roots in one a special spot there, but its still just the beach... I can only handle living in the tropics up in the mountains. I'm planning on doing El Honduragua for the month of January and Tahoe for Feb and March. Gonna take my off season as seriously as I take my growing season this year. Plenty of time in the pink unitard. I am commissioning a harvest of Neville's Haze to come down right before I get there.. Sativa smoke-out in the cloudforest: 2011. This is a spot like no other and its never more amazing than in January...

weather is perfect. river is low enough for swimming. hasn't reached the too dry and dusty point that it sometimes does by Feb and march... the new coffee harvest will be in and processed... a fresh spin on our Kahlua recipe will probably be in the offing too. Last seasonal special was one made with a touch of cardamom. Who knows what will be in store for the 2011 special batch.

There is even talk of holding a bamboo building seminar this year. I have about 40 interested parties and if 10 or 12 of them can coordinate a date in January, I'm going to do a 4-7 day workshop on bamboo joinery.
