Raist: Just checkin' in. Nice to hear about the 5 female CC's. I toldya' things would work out fine! By the way: if you really want to cross the CC with other stuff and you need it to throw pollen Soma developed a cool trick; flower one of them until it throws off a few 'nanners. I don't remember where I read this fact, but apparently Soma is one of the original sources that found out if you continue to flower female strains past the point where they should be cut....they eventually develop some male flowers....not hermaphrodite....just male flowers that have totally female genetics.
I know it sounds strange...we'll have to do some digging here in the threads to get back to the source material. I'm fairly certain that's one of the main ways that feminized seeds are developed....that or sprayed applications of gibberelic acid solution will do the same thing and force male flowers with female genetics. The problem with hermaphrodites is that they have male and female genetic characteristics. This is more like the "jurassic park" trick where they didn't want the dinosaurs to reproduce, so they manipulated the genes or only made females or whatever....then much to the dismay of the island people they found out that the added genes to complete the dinosaur genome came from frogs. Apparently frogs are one sex or the other until they are environmentally 'stressed'. Then they can change sex and continue to breed. Unfortunate for the peeps in Jurassic park....pretty fortunate for those of us in need of seed.

Anyway, I wanted to ask you how strong of a nute mix are you trying? If it calls for 5ml per gallon, try backing off to 2ml. That might do the trick for ya.
As for soil amendments, I thought you had done something as well (EWC) but... The top dressing will probably work just fine anyway!

I was there brother.....that night was great, but you are correct----LEO was heavy in the lot. People were getting taken down left and right.

Great show, and great weather that day, but after the show, the lot took FOREVER to empty out. I mean the longest ever at any show I have ever been to. like 3 hours to get out of the lot.

good times. my mom told me that Phish is supposed to get back together soon. (my mom is like 70) so I checked their site and Paige had a letter up there. I think it will happen in the next couple of years.

Ebb & Flow man...all the way......Ebb & Flow. Soil = being tied down like a bad relationship. Ebb & Flow means you can go where you want to.....when you want to....in my case 1 week away is no problem. While I was cracking beans and working in the coco I was tied to the babies. Now it's like the kids are all grown up. I go from clone, so things are in the EZ cloner on auto-pilot....or they're in the E&F setup vegative or flowering.
