Just check the Arjan bobble head you will know what I mean

Even arjan madness and ego inflation There are many great greenhouse strains of marijuana

Arjan's haze #1 is actually pretty good sativa

I didn't name my HK, it was one of my buddies that kept calling it that so it stuck. It's all perspective I guess. Lots of us do not know ea other personally. Coming up with names has gotten too difficult as most are already used. It's just easier to use project #'s now. I'd like to see everyone move away from using names. You can get sued if you use the wrong one.

I dont think it went down like that.... as far as Tom hill haze

Tom Hill was his handle on here and he sold seeds seed boutique

The haze was just listed as ''Haze"

I dont think Tom even knew the connection back to Sam before he sent the first seeds over to gypsy

As for Nevil's haze I thought Shanti sold them spelled " Neville's Haze"

maybe hempy will know if Nevil named it after himself ...... but its probably other people?

I call what Todd Mcorrmick is doing' Todd haze'.....He doesnt call it Todd haze Its just easier.... we know it came from Sam

Now Arjan has no doubt named a strain after himself lol This is very possible!

Hi herbgreen i never asked Nevil about the name or how it got the name to be honest.

All i ever care about is the history and the genetic make up and then the quality of any strain.

The name of a strain is important as it allows a grower to know the history and sauce of the strain you grow.

This is why the name haze is important and if every one called their sativa lines haze you would not know were to go to get the real deal.

I just been using Todd and Tom to differentiate between the pics and descriptions.

Its all Haze after all.

why dont you just sell your selections of haze ?? ill buy some off ya no problem

Because it's me who has initiated the sharing of the Haze, by sharing my Seedsman selections with the community, to show where the undiscovered phenotypes are hidden in order to preserve the rest of the cake, as long as other seedsman lines are around, before it is to late.
And it has worked. But could be better....

Selling my selections is no option. Not as long the sharing of the Haze is running.
I have not shared them with the community, to sell them.....
Then I could have straight sold them, keeping the exclusivity.

Here's my thinner leaved Nl5 from todd

This NL looks more 3/4 sativa than yours.
Of course not from Todd.

Even his OH looks often more indica than this NL :D

I think THhaze is "haze" it was open pollination He did the reproduction in a 10 x 20 tent I remember the pictures here on IG

I dont think there is deep chunk in THH

Deep chunk is dominate in crosses and takes over No way there is Deep chuck in THH

This is what I could find on THH and haze 19........I dont know where its from or who asked this question.... other than IG:biggrin:

[FONT="verdana\]Haze 19 was grown by me, I just numbered my Haze seedlings 1-1000, #19 is what they were interested in, If I remember correctly they used seeds from Haze 19 to make their line, I don't think it was a Haze 19 clone I gave them....

Question - what is more dominate in crosses, Deep Chunk or pure Haze......? Is it you don't think or is it No way...?

finding some good phenos in seedsman haze ,, breeding them on an sharing is highly admirable johnny ,,,altho i dont see why you cannot sell them aswell or how the rules your putting on yourself in this regard are beneficial i dont see it personally ...also dont see how selling them would create any exclusivity ,,quite the opposite in fact ,,hence my post to you in first place ,,,, ...but hey its your genetics brother if you happy im happy

Every cross with Deep chunk I grew was DC dom. OH was not that dominate in most crosses.Tom also did make Monkey haze (Deep chunk x OH)
and Tule fog (OH x DC)

An F1 hybrid with proper deep chunk looks more indica than most seed offerings of "chunk"available, which still look pretty chunky, and most "indicas" available..That is how dominant it is..

I've crossed it with a bunch and they all come out looking pretty chunky..Tom did offer a chunk x haze f2 if I recall right, I have some in the fridge still, but that was a separate offering to the haze.

For pretty much the only guy (Tom Hill), around in the earlier days of keeping genetics and breeding, who actually kept pure and unadulterated, a real good indica from the 70's and later released it along with hybrids and sativas in mid 2000's, from that I very much doubt that he is the kind of guy to hybridize a sativa and then turn around and sell it as pure.. Strawberry diesel is a very haze dominant indica with the one strawberry cough parent being haze, look up getmo's strawberry diesel chunk pics on here or google from like ten years back, you can see how dominant the chunk is, there is no disguising a chunk hybrid. There are pictures on here a plenty I am sure of the tom hill haze x chunk and they look nothing like his haze, well except for the haze also being dominant in crosses..so case closed on that debate for me.
