I hope to put another layer of net on her this weekend. Very mild lowers trim and fed a handful of organic pelleted fertilizer today.

Well, let’s see. In the past two weeks We’ve had temps at 46C or 115F and the entire west coast is basically on fire...

This is just at dusk and you can see how the light just reflects off the heavy air.

Just a bit earlier in he day. There were a number of fan leaves that got very toasty from the highs we’ve had recently.

I gave a cleaning tonight and will go another round tomorrow. As well add the third layer of plant netting.

We’re over 2.75 meters.

Just beginning to flower.

Very happy to see her already showing signs of flowering Ur Humbl Nr8tor :)

Temps should start to get cooler now with the autumn start.
If size is not a problem then keep feeding her with nitrogen for a couple of week more, then switch to flwoering ferts, always with gentle feeding, less is more with these tropicals.

Absolutely appreciate the advice. Only issue with size is handling the ladder on steep slopes when I don’t have an extra set of hands. She’s pretty visible to a couple of neighbors...but they tend to keep their noses in their own back yards. I’ll plan on a handful of organic vegetable pellets this weekend and perhaps one more feeding using N, then start focus on bat guano, etc. for the flowering. We are still warm, but comparatively cooler to where we were a few weeks ago. I suspect nicely cooling temps as she gets into full flowering potential. Then my focus shifts to any rains if she ends up going into December or even later. I’ve had almost zero issues with her be it bugs or what have you. We lost a number of non marijuana potted plants in that heat wave, so even a little crisp...the OTH x Malawi and the New Killer Malawi S1 just keep plugging along.

Here she’s is on the penultimate day of September.

I love the setting sun on red behind. We’ve almost got the neighbor blocked out.

Yes, setting bud sites

Gave her a nice handful of organic dry fertilizer today. Trying to combat those yellowing leaves. It’s still way too hot.

Still stretching, but I’m hoping she’s about to start shifting gears. 4+ meters. I think one ore two more N additions. New Killer Malawi S1 in the front.

She’s probably a foot or so taller than my last picture on Oct. 2

Almost 39 C today. Supposed to be a bit cooler starting tomorrow. Hope that’s a trend that keeps on going.

Spicy and oily aromas.

I think I posted in this thread before.
Don't remember if I said so before but I hope you don't mind me posting humble Nr8tor.
Here's my Purple Haze x Malawi standard female I think I gotta check the pack.
This is from clone. Not sure how many days but I'm sure its gonna be a while.
Last time was over a hundred but I took it down early.

Hi Mr.Revolution,

This is the official Purple Haze x Malawi thread here on ICMag so your pics are more than welcome ;)
Glad to see her already in flowering and that she didn't overgrow the place, it's a sign you tamed her very well!

Hi Ur Humbl Nr8tor,

Yours is now well established into flowering, looks very healthy, but since she is going to focus on packing weight until at least early December you can feed her during upcoming weeks, but always gently :)

Thanks, dubi. I usually give a handful of dry organic granules scratched into soil. I did the same last Tuesday. I note the upper half of the plant is perfectly green. Not really even the slight tip burn I see a lot of times. But she’s dumped a lot of the lower fans. Some has to do with a day where it got over 45C. Amazing all these plants survived as well as they did with that heat. Maybe I’ll continue that feeding into November once a week. I intend to start adding some dried bat guano as well towards months end.

Amazing you still have such high temps at this time of the year, definitely good location to grow long flowering sativas.

Glad she is reacting well to the feeding, keep feeding her for 1 month more .... she will appreciate it and the yield too.

Thanks dubi. We’ve had some very warm late October weather this year, but things are adjusting now. Lows around 10-12c and highs this week all the way up to 30c. Temps should be dropping in the next few weeks. Also, we should hopefully have some rains starting November but with La Niña this year, perhaps not as much.

Yesterday, I gave another handful of organic fertilizer scratched into soil. I will plan to add this every 10 days or so until the flowers are well developed in later part of November.
