many thanks Don!!! make me feel very proud, coming from one of the thai masters! :thank you::thank you::thank you: i'm putting all my efforts to grow this as much mature and resinous as i can at 41 latitude, days are 15-20 celsius, but nights had gone below zero for one full month, so a greenhouse and a little propane heater at night is a must in order to finish to full maturation stuff like that here if you're not manipulating the fotoperiod...
bud pictures and a smoke report coming soon

El Gordo,

Wow! Nice work. My first thought was a tropical grower, but in a greenhouse at my latitiude. I'm impressed.
:tiphat:

I hope you made a cutting, found a strong, clean, and electric one.

Bud of the month!

thanks!! i hope it too, but not too much, because from my last 7 seeds only two sprouted, this female and a male that i put back to veg in order to make some seeds, so zero selection allowed in this generation, :frown: would be very lucky to find a very outstanding plant in just one seed, but who knows.... somebody win the lottery...and there's less chances

i recommend you to buy the manipuri while the're still avalible, i'm growing some this season and i'm very impressed, extreme sativas with a very very nice terpene density and profiles, sweet piney in the green phenos, and more fruity in the purple ones, will upload some pictures in the next days, the flowering times are exactly like thais , with some phenos that will finish in a couple of weeks i think (the greenhouse make them mature slowlier) and some that starts in early november and may flower until march and get back into veg again without doing too much bud inbetween (like the famous never ending thais) but i expect most but one plant will finish between january and early february.

Does cutting the light help these never ending Thais say instead of 12/12 go 8/16?

Sure... most tropicals won't even start flowering until you drop to 13h of night. Keep in mind that daylength ranges between 13h and 11h in equatorial areas, so 12/12 is still vegetative schedule for mos of them.

11/13 and limiting root space is definitely a must if you grow them indoors.

G `day Musta

Also topping will deplete the flowering hormones the plant is accumulating . Add another 2 or more weeks if the plants are topped as they go into flower .

Kerala , Santa Marta , PNG . All sit on the equator .
Golden Triangle . Vietnam , Nthn Australia , Jamaica . About 15 degrees Lat .

Thanks for sharin

added to that ,
sexual maturity ,,
let the plant veg some ,, 12/12 from onset disturbs them ,
best to let them do what they want ..

++ That's right sexual maturity is important.
Growing from cuts with sexual maturity is the best way to grow pure sativas indoor, or in north latitude.
I grow principaly sativas/landraces and use 11h30 of light per day, everytime, it work very well!

I like to have 4months veg before I think of flowering a sativa.
Even if i have to take clones and cull the mother because she's getting too big.
My best sativas were about a year or older when I flowered them. Huge difference from the run of the mother I did that Vegged 90 days.
