Wow! This will get interesting, Cooley and fail of prop.19.

Like it or not the majority of people that voted yes are now highly pissed at drug dealers and growers alike. I expect many to be outed and busted in the very near future. That target just got ten times bigger as there are now many more hunters. Very sad times.

exactly and the dea was waiting this like a kids at Christmas ...

now the law enforcement can brag they have a clear mandate to prosecute what they call illegal drug dealing , voted by the population ...they where waiting like snake in the grass

voting no was the bullet in the gun period...

what is stunning is the guy who have been busted not so long ago in cali who was so against prop 19...did this guy is dumb and dont think the cops have him under their eyes foam at the mouth...they know he is a large grower and a commercial one....

you can expect a choke hold on your medical program ...in canada our system is almost dead....

i pity Californian

i pity you because i bet you will all feel the leo and dea like never before...

look the plethora of restriction that will come for mmj patient.....

you think they dont going to bust dispensary, coop and small fish now ?

if not ....you are an idiot . dumb and dumber live in cali then ..

Wow, true personalities come out. Look at you people....wishing horrible things on others, name calling. You weren't worth what you wanted in the first place. Shitty how everyone fucking acts today. We now have a fucking Republican Governor in my state...I'm not fucking crying or wishing bad on my friends and family that voted that way. Get a fucking grip folks. You think that proposal was gonna save the fucking world.... How about deal with it and keep your thoughts and actions productive and maybe shit will work out in your favor in the future. Like the fucking whole world just ended. GLAD this shit is over. NEVER seen such a division in a group of people who are supposed to be united, regardless of how they voted.

Yup, congratulations on shooting yourself in the foot, Cali. Sure hope Cooley has a tough time putting all his enemies away. I know private prison will sure love to have a few more 'guests'.

In 3-5 years we will have federal legalization for medicinal use
Sorry david, you're dreaming, in 3-5 years we will be worse off then we are today thanks to the failure of 19.

There will be no 2012 Crack Herer super prop, and even if there was, it would fail, because the CA MJ scene doesn't want anything different then they have now.

Very disappointed, a lot more short sighted, greedy people in CA then I thought.

Couldn't agree more re your statements about the DEA. As for Californians - we live in a polarised society where drug issues are concerned so clearly Californians voted in favour of prohibition. That's the way the cookie crumbles. And I think there is next to no chance for 2012. Obama is over (I dobt he will go to a second term) and it looks like drug czar Cooley is in.

Cooley is not in, its not over yet, and as of right now he is losing. You all need to read miss blunted's post.

Wow. You know what I've got? A brain that can read and make logical, rational decisions while not gloating cause "I gots mine"...I'm open to change and am able to resist a myopic outlook all too common with those among us who forget history.

Ass.

Lets see...2012 debate on legalizing marijuana in California... "Sounds like a great idea, Cali loves weed"---"No they don't, remember two years ago"----"Oh yeah, forget about it..."

This is ridiculous, you people in Cali failed the rest of the US period.
This failed because of two reaseons #1 (by far) GREED, dealers and growers scared of losing income, they've decided its better for us to sit in jail for the stuff they dell than to lose a penny in profit.
Second. LAZINESS, people too freaking lazy to vote.

You really don't understand what 19 would of done to MMJ patients rights. doesnt matter to me anymore if you understand or not your not here in california and it didnt pass so......

Then please explain to all of us how exactly you would have been screwed by prop 19. I can't see how it is anywhere proportionate to the greater effect/impact of it failing for everyone else in CA and what it will now do to the momentum for everywhere else in the USA.

This is a sad day. I was really hoping that snowball was going to get pushed over the hill.

People complain about the taxation and while I agree we need less government intervention, the fact is that having it LEGAL but taxed in CA is far better and does more for the likelihood of things changing elsewhere in the US, then as it will be now moving forward.

Greed and old people that think that cannabis is devil weed is what caused people to vote no.

Are the medicinal marijuana chemicals just CBD and CBN? Does THC have any medical uses apart from the alleged 'anti-depressant' effect? If THC doesnt have medicinal uses then what the US government would eventually do it make medical patients grow/use only low THC, high CBN & CBD weed which is basically industrial hemp...(?)

I know i wouldnt want to smoke weed that doesnt get me high..

Maybe a lot of people that voted were parents that dont want their kids smoking weed? That 'reefer madness' stigma is still very much attached to cannabis and its hard to change everybodies thoughts regarding it.

Peace,

Tel...

Edit: Quote - Chimei : Greed and old people that think that cannabis is devil weed is what caused people to vote no.
Exactly what i mean about the reefer madness stigma.

it would created over a dozen new laws FOR ALL AGES with STRICTER penalties than anything we have had in California, while only repealing 8 laws for those 21 and Over. Would of created a total of 4 new laws, thats including what it would have "legalized"

mr noodles still can't explain why this is terrible for MMJ so i figure he's pulling that one out of his...where the sun dont shine....

Colorado will be Number 1 in legalization.

nuff said.

It's already totally legal in Nederland, CO...not decriminalized.
all sales, growth, transportation, consumption, possession...anything else..all legalized!!!

CA would not have been first. Nederland voted in legalization April 2010, went into effect June 1st 2010

CO Rules, always has, always will...

CALI sucks!!! They just proved it, fucking losers!!!

CO will lead the way in 2012

you'll watch, it will happen here.
