WTF CNN... this is how you discuss topics... have someone come on make a statement then 30 mins later have someone else make an rebuttal?

This guy seems happy that mmj failed to pass this time around im sure since prop19 failed they are chomping at the bit to get back in the swing of things... 2 more years and we are going back to the way it was before Obama said not to raid mmj.

We need an IC MAG prototype ballot initiative
that people outside IC MAG can use as a reference when they
try a ballot initiative.

These initiatives are done outside our IC community and in the dark about our real needs.

seen lots of good ideas on IC about ballot initiatives.
If it can be formulated into a vote thing where people can say what's important in the next ballot initiative.

They workin on them right now.
We need to figure out the best course for the next round.........

.....turns out they were all from unregisterred hippies... oh well.

I don't think you're kidding. It wouldn't surprise me. Can you imagine Cooley and his entourage laughing their asses off at the bar about all these people too uninformed to know you can't just show up and vote?

Did Weedtracker even announce the voter registration deadline?

I can guarantee you that if people weren't already legal, and this would have made them legal they'd have taken the time to get out there, mid terms or not. One of these people owns a dispensory and he said he spoke to at least 100 people and only three of them voted...... What does that tell you?

Most people know the US is loaded with some of the most selfish people in the world. As long as they're taken care of that's all that matters. That's why our Country is in the shape it's in.

sad but true. but unforunately thats the entire world pretty much. humans are selfish.

Those that voted no, voted to keep it illegal...it kinda seems like getting arrested is what they like--
Have fun with your $100 fines, and losing your weed-- Oh, and have fun with that felony for any Concentrates you have--
I don't personally hope anybody gets arrested, but I hope everyone gets what they Voted for--:tiphat:

Hey, like, remember back in the days when you lived in a tiny ass state where it was illegal as shit to grow dope but it didn't matter who ya voted for because no one was really counting that much, but now since ya live in Cali and r registered to vote, you realize the vast responsibility of the added freedoms...? Holla.

Want to know what happened? Quite simple. First, this wasn't about legalizing pot - it was more about the large scale manufacture of pot. Eg., Oakland authorized 4 factories, one of which would supposedly produce 58 lbs a day - every day!!! Run and owned by a contractor - someone who hadn't put in a minutes worth of work promoting the legalizing of pot, etc. This would have cut out everyone. Oakland got too greedy thinking of the taxes. All my friends who grow small scale, supporting their families voted no. No one's going to survive on $6 eighths.

Also it was a bad idea to have it on the mid term elections. Obama pissed off all the left wing liberals and progressives who blindly thought he was one of them and who were more likely to vote for 19, and so they had less incentive to show up to vote.

Also, you have to ask how the polls were conducted. Some - most that showed 19 passing - were auto robot polls, some more personal - were the ones that showed it failing.

Also, looking at the ballot info book, the proponents did not answer the opponents' rebuttal argument that even if you support legalizing pot, you should vote no, because prop. 19 was badly written. It was a good argument and should have been rebutted properly. Instead the proponents just repeated what they had said in the argument for. The argument for is not the same thing as a rebuttal to an argument against.

Anyway, I'm glad that this prop to authorize large scale manufacture of pot failed. Maybe next time, someone will actually write a decent proposition that will be supported by all those who have grown over the years and have helped get the movement to where it is today.

annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd Then? and then and then and then and then and then and then and then?

Edit: LOL sorry i was really stoned after after reading the post above me, which i agree with the majority of it. I was busting up laughing the way he wrote it. LOL. i was imagining him getting all excited while posting it. Words do express a lot. Must be why our English language has so many types and variation of words.. Because we are emotionally expressive type of people, taught by culture of course.

Sorry bro, but the Oakland thing has nothing to do with Prop 19....it is for Medical-- They will be supplying the Dispensaries-- :tiphat:

^^^^another brainless dipshit. those were 215 warehouses that were going to be built regardless of 19... so guess what genius. they are still gearing up to produce 58lbs a day. but hey im glad you voted no based off selfishiness and misinformation.

>>>all you people who "are just supporting your families" from mj sales. guess what? there are 49 other states that pay alot more for mj than CA. since you guys are such bad ass criminals who say fuck the law, why dont you goto florida or some other east coast state that will cut your balls off for growing thus giving you an edge on competition and you can slang your shit weed for 400-600 oz.
