the SG 2 - is the keeper i think im going to stay with from the Super-G this far - maybe one of the later flowering ones might be interesting too - but i got to see about that later.
now this SG is fast finishing, seems to be harvestable before 60 days. atleast today im at day 53 of flowering and im sure it will be harvested before too long.
to reveg this i have to dig it out of the big pot it is sharing with an other SG - and hopefully i wont damage the roots of the other too much (if i do it - no big loss - its a very tiny plant - like 2 joints) i will transplant it to a 5 liter pot and move it into the veg chamber - that within a few days.
i prefeer to cut it a bit early (before finished flowering 100%) to make sure there is some vitality left in it to get a quick re-veg.
this one has some milky trichs, but its mostly clear this far. i have seen some amber trichs too and its getting time for the reveg.
it has a very nice bud build up with fat calyx and very high coverage of trichomes with small heads.
from all the Super-G i kept this one has the shortest hairs in the flowers. also the density of the buds is much higher - and got to ad the size of the calyx is about 2-4x bigger than in the other phenos.
i have to try this one in a more favourable set up - where it will recieve the light it should - and grow it to a good size.
as soon as i have cut a part to test smoke it (to make sure it actually is worth re-vegging (wich i dont doubt really) and to have some fun) i will post some thoughts on it.

i went ahead and cut it and put it to reveg
since it was a really small plant i deceded against curing and airdrying - and it went straight for the microwave owen heheheso i present a small smoke-report right now
i have been smoking it since this early afternoon - and i fell asleep at 6 in the evening! lol so it seems quite effective for relaxing the fact the flavour is very smooth and the smoke goes in very easy
i can see this is a herb that it is best to smoke with a bit of care hehe ok the results :

"Early and chunky"
harvest - 56-60 days MAX (now about 7 days from harvest-max)
looks - very high resin coverage. small trichomes. nice light/green orange buds - small but dense nugs. very high calyx to leaf ratio.
smell - Skunky citric with a hint of pine scent. fairly acidic but still sweet perfume. does NOT smell strongly, rather a scent or perfume.
taste (uncured) - very smooth smoke - sweet
high - sedating quite strong
thoughts - nice! decievingly easy to smoke
the genetics:
seems the high is Blockhead-ish but the looks of the plant is more rather like a columnar indica pheno with sativa leaf. it has short internodes and not too much branching.
the high is very nice
dont need much to get where i like to be hehe

pipeline - in the microwave-oven the terpentines evaporate - atleast the ones that have an evaporation point below the boiling temperature of water. but the cannabinoids dont get too affected really. id say u get a fairly good idea of the high. maybe it looses 10% potency or less. it is the best option for quickdrying hehe

hm hmn just checked on the polinated SSH x PTK clones (the last ones i polinated) and there is NO signs of seeds - its a pity but ill give it an other shot some other day. the clones i used have matured and there is no white hairs. in other words i have to cut them soon to make sure they dont get over-mature and get useless for smoking
the earliest SSH x PTK i polinated will give me a few seeds - and hopefully there i will find somethng interesting to play with
also the BIG bush of the SSH x PTK (an old mom) has a bitr too many branches - and the buds have gotten a bit smaler than normally. thats only because there is too many branches - same goes with the big bushes of astrofog (also old moms) they have so many branches none of the buds is going to get too big or chunky. but i think the final harvest on both will be ok - the astrofogs are going to yield more than the SSH x PTK bush..
the more i check out the seeded mozambique - the more interesting becomes the outcome - the fact both the female and male used are fruity phenos. makes me hope for a nice fruity hybrid its going to be very very interesting to grow out the seeds from that cross as a matter of fact im going to try to plant seeds of it as soon as i have harvested the seeds - if im lucky i can put them directly into 12/12 (or give them first a few weeks of 24H light) and try them as soon as possible.
the big monster sativa from RACO is getting bigger and bigger - for the moment it seems it will yield very very well - if the buds fill up properly. each branch of this girl is going to give as much as one of the smaler plants. a very nice thing indeed - since the fact the seedlings are not yeilding as much as i thought many of the plants from seed of cascadia, super G, lovepotion and LDS are very small and wont yield much more than a few spliffs each. thats due to the fact i put them to flower very early. however as i stated before the aim of this grow was to find new keepers - and harvest came of second importance - but still its nice to get a lot of smoke - so i really hope the rest of the phenos that are still fattening up will give nice chunky buds
many of the cascadias are late to get going - the pheno D, C and B are still filling up - some pf those phenos have still all white hairs and i bet they will keep producing more calyx for a while more - atleast for a coule of weeks more.
the big LDS (used for F2) is really getting going nicelly - its intersting since the plant has a V-shape - 2 main stems and a few smaler branches - but the fun part is one of the main branches (the one i used a smaller branch of to polinate) is getting mature before the other branch! hope this doesnt mean its going to get more dificult to re-veg it
the Cheese x TW is still producing white hairs - but its looking like its not going to fatten up much more.
the BIG JD is starting to mature its smaller sister is however still producind white hairs - and also it has more resin on the leafs - but the bigger sister is more intersting because of its vitality. this far i dont know wich one to keep - its going to be something to decide on later
it strikes me the mozambique thats not seeded is growing to become a very nice sativa indeed - maybe it doesnt have too fat calyx - nor are the buds big - but i think the manner it was planted is part of the reason for its size. this baby is sure going to be more productive in a 5-7 liter pot in stead of 1 liter anyway - the clusters of buds are getting a silvery look to them - there is for sure going to be resin there when its finished also the smell is very fruity - not at all as i remember the mayority of african weed i have smoked.
i think growing in coco is bringing out the best of the land race sativas - its going to be very interesting to see how the oaxacans behave (hope for a boy+girl!) and since i have smoked a fair bit of oaxacan weed in situ - its going to be a nice reminder (that is - if i get a girl)
the fact i planted the oaxacans makes me think im going to most likelly make some cross using them later (if i get a boy hehe) because i think interesting cross could be: ECSD/Ogkush x Oxacan also this makes me feel like planting some pure landrace indica to make an other cool hybrid - a shame i dont have more PTK seeds. i got a few more or variuos TomHill crosses and hybrids using his genetics - but im keeping them for my mate to grow out when he moves down.
maybe - just maybe i might plant a few DC seeds - since i got a few left - BUT i have been thinking of saving them for later when i got more space (when i got my house set up properly) so most likelly im going to keep em for later.
of the last seeds i planted, the ones that germinated:
ECSD/OGkush 3
Oaxacan 3
ogkush/DC x afghani 1
BG x BD 5
besides them i will flower a few clones of SSH x PTK and Astrofog - and any of the currently flowering ones that will have time to reveg.
