it was a sad moment cutting the two (she-)males of X18 x DC. well - luckilly i didnt cut the unsexed plant that was in one of the pots... so now i got one female of X18 x DC put into the flowering room there is one more X18 x DC planted together with the LDS male - and that one is a late flowerer - so it might be mature right in time to get polinated

so really - even though i got a few hermies out of the 120 seeds (completelly normal btw) the number of plants makes up for it.

i still got 2 mozambiqueans females and 2 X18 x DC females.

so all is not lost

also did a complete new inside of the male veg compartment - i spent the last of my mylar dressing the inside and the top to reflect the light better (it really is an excellent reflector - will look into not using any reflector some grow - and just rely on the mylar) also covered the outside with thick black plastic. now it should 100% light proof - even if its in a dark room - it is next to the clones - and the light from them shouldnt affect the dads if possible. a bit messy with the little space i got but finally its sorted out.

i will mix up some nutes now and then relax and watch some lost episodes

Growing inside is like I never grew before NOT the same as outside or the greenhouse. I'm grateful, but bone, when you get your safe and secure greenhouse you will feel as though you died and went to heaven. sigh..................

sorry about the hermies man, hope no of the females turn on ya man, you better keep a good eye out. so all in all are yoou happy that you are reusing the coco? i knw you can only really say, when you harvest some plants. but so far so good right?

ok.. a bit anoying but crap happens - seems to be a light-leak in the area for the males or maybe its stress - but 2 males have suddenly gotten lots of female hairs. they are both of the same cross. the X18 x DC

i still got 3 more males - and later today im going to completelly re-do the grow-space for the males. got to make sure its light proof - if that was/is the problem.

all happy campers - positive vibes are important hehe - also really - it gets more easier for me - 5 males is too much.. i find the wellbeing of the PURE PTK more essencial for the breeding project. But still - would have been fun with the X18 x DC males..

Remember that those strains have been developed and grown in soil.Well,the bone 19 was made indoors.Some say that there´s breeding value in such males...
Also the envirommental pressures count...let´s see what happen to the girls.
We have 2 bone 19:
One is a girl,the other still unsexed.True cabbages

hehe yeah medjool - the greenhouse is the goal to grow indoors is fun - but comparing that with the sun is just,... sad!

gaius - i think ther is absolutelly no difference between the recycled coco and the new one -

there is now in the new space-age male room - 1 cascadia, 1 LDS and one PTK male - also left in there is a PTK female and a X18 x DC female too.

the truth is i threw together the male-space too quick the first time..

but still im stoked enough with the rest as it is

the Astrofog Kalimist is reacting exactly as i suspected to the nutes - its allready starting to build up really quic! i expect something new from this one - since we only flowered her once before - but late in the season and it never got much light - still it produced well -but somewhat fluffy buds. so the plan is too see if the extra PK is going to give good results on it it is also recieving most of the time 5ml more per liter of both A+B to the rest. its just loving it.

This is an awesome thread bonecarver. Your goarden looks great to say the least, that astrofrog really caught my eye, almost looked like it tried to take over in there. I've never ( knock on wood ) had a hermi, sorry to hear you had 2 on the x-18. That looks impressive, hope it was just a fluke.

Thanx for sharing about the recycled coco, I've got a plant coming down in a week, great to know I can just keep reusing my coco. I've learned a lot in this forum and on another site.

the astrofog it is a very vigorous cross. good yeilder - great smoke - and of quite ok potency - a bit up and stressing sometimes

it tastes and smells like pine apple! atleast in coco

dude it's looking real good in there, buds are developing real fast. i am trying out the because bud booster, instead of the bio boost from canna. added it yesterday to the tank day 14 of 12/12, also gave them a low dose of the new flowering booster called cal gel, that i have been using. it adds to your ec, just like the pk does. the because booster doesn't add to the ec, it just add to the uptake capability, by livening up the beneficial bacteria. of course 90% of the nutrient mix ec, is made up of A+B. but it's fun trying to get them to out perform each other with the boosters.

interesting with the b'cuzz bud booster - i think i might give it a shot some day - ill check ur results first but seriously its interesting.

reminds me i should get a bottle of of bio-boost or bud boost if they got it in the shop

yeah the because booster is half the price per lt of bioboost, also you never use more then 1 ml per lt. with bioboost they advise 2ml per lt in coco as of week 4 of 12/12, starting with 1ml per lt from day 14 of 12/12 till day 28, then like i said 2ml per lt. very expensive in the end. although i have to admit that i got some sweet yields using it. anyway the because is also bio according to the label. i look forward to see how it does, will let you know. have added pk 13/14 to the tank for the SDv3 girls, i haven't given the pk this early in a while. in fact i didn't have any for the last harvests

anyway i'll get back to you on the because booster if it's any good.

its cool if there is other alternatives the bcuzz boost sounds cool - im going to check if they got that in the grow shop.

usually the biobooster don't intake the EC levels due to his compositions.
they not contains main elements in relevant amount for the EC levels, but they add to the solution lot of aminoacids,vitamins,and natural hormones like auxines-cytokins and gibberellins and some enzymes if it's produced by fermentation.BENEFICIAL BACTERIA ARE OTHER THINGS and from other stuff than algae or fruits like canna booster.THUS the bioboost canna is not ONLY ORGANIC...IS MADE BY EXTRACTION FROM ORGANICS.

omri and skal made this confusion possible...extraction from organic does not means 100% ORGANIC ALLOWED IN BIOLOCICAL AGRICULTURE CEE 2091\92

BIO CANNA DOES'NT ...BIOSEVIA IS WAITING...AND THE OTHER DOES'NT HAVE THIS ONE IN ANY CASES.

interesting info! this is why i find it so interesting to use biological nutes - as it seems to me the bio-part is what gives the coco buds suchs a good taste - so with nutes like biomagno - the results could get absolutelly astounding. i would use it like i normally do use my nutes (PH etc) but there would be no need to ad any biological boosters - and i bet the bacterial insecticides are more effective in a bio-friendly environment.

i can see only benefits for such a nute - the rest would be just fine tuning of measures.

u know im gonna give it a shot when i can get my hands on it hehe

bonecarver i like ur thread very much, it is quite an undertaking to start all of those seeds...the ones that make it all the way will for sure be the best! i liked Raco's inbred x-18 shots as well and the PTK is looking very excellent...the breadth on those leaves is really something to see! keep up the good work bc, i think ur gonna get overgrown here pretty quick hehe!
