Alright.. got a lot of mylar today.. completelly covered the inside of the grow room with it - walls and ceiling. i think the difference seems to be huge.

Well hope it pays off.. i've spent a darn near a fortune on this stuff soon hehe :D

peace all

i cut the bogglegum - it was a bit scetchy with the sexual identity :D

now atleast i got the huge oversized pot out of the growroom and i can finally get in there a bit more comfortably. also i cut one LDS male the other day - so i got to do a complete recount of the flowering plants in the following days.

im really excited over the vigor of the biggest LDS and the biggest JD - i cant wait for them to start packing up trichs - now its getting into the 3rd week of flowering and i will bring the nutes down a bit and start giving a little bit more PK. - but that during the weekend - wont make up a new batch of nute water untill that. also i think the rhizotonic propably has done mayor part of its roll now and its going to get pulled dwn a bit too. on the otherside im going to start giving a litle bit more of Atazyme. - but first i will do a week without it - ive been giving it now for 3 weeks. so i will give more or less just nutes+supervit and a little bit of rhizotonic and the tiny splash of PK.

all plants are starting to form buds . besides 3 that havent sexed yet - but they do look like females - but they are just slow to get going :D if i would have a veg spae for them i would take them out and veg them atleast a month more before id flower them - they are really tiny and wont yield much. its od since they got planted around 31 of december. well i gues there allways has to be a runt that makes it thru the selection to flowering :D

im really contect with the double mylar layer - also covering the roof seems to have been a good idea - its REALLY bright in there now. but it sux i cant get a good mylar thats 100% non-transparent. also the new one is a bit see thru, but it seems to still reflect more of the light - it has a less mirror surface and more of a silvery shine to it. pretty much like aluminum foil - but as plastic.

ill have to supose this mylar is more authentic than the other - still its see thru. but double layer is working really well.

i have heard of mylar thats got one side coated with white thick plastic and its completelly non-transparent - i wonder when and where i can get that in the future.

ill try to get time tomorow to post a few pics of the new mylar coating of the room. and some pics of happy plants :D

ah - also the fact the mylar doesnt make any rattling noise like the other - i can now have the fans on full blast. hm.. i hope they like it stormy - but i just want to make sure that humid air circulates and doesnt cause more humidity damage in the wall paper outside the imediate grow area. part of the problem is a realy humid mosscoverd internal patio of the apartment block - well.. moving to the summer/autumn :D so i can handle it :D

peace all

after putting in mylar to reflect the light of fluorecents n the cloning area - i switched of 2 of them - it just got too bright. i dont want the fresh clones to get stressed while rooting. im now considerig using the last piece of mylar for the dads.

also i got to say i see all the clones are rooting and well of.

the growroom is now a quite blinding experience. i can see the difference - its huge!

seems the plats made a jump forward in the last night. they are starting to bud up - most of them - i brought my lady into the growroom - and she also was quite amazed with the size of the leafs of some of the DC hybrids by Raco.

also i got to bend a few males to make the stunt a bit in the stretch - they are already touching the lights..

wow you aren't foolin around on this grow....looking forward to seeing what they are made of.

Have you heard of foylon or reflectix insulation instead of mylar? Reflectix is my fave now cuz it's easily available, and insulates dwc buckets and reservoirs better than anything.

here we get Mylar - or what ever the shops are trying to sell as it.

great work bonecarver, i hope things are going as they should? i ended doing a real heavy drench with solbac, it seems it gets rid of the gnat larva, but all the adults survive to make new larva, but by repeating it at a few key points in the grow you can insure a good yield. even if you do have those annoying gnats flying and crawling around. i'll do my last treatment 4 weeks into 12/12, for the last 5 weeks they will not do too much damage to the roots, as they will not have the time to do too much, before it's harvest time.

the misting in combination with the drenching seems to have worked well - there isnt really any bugs to talk about in there :D

i will mist tonight in a preventive measure to get rid of any flying bugs from there :D

the bacteria i will aply in a few weeks time :D

Wow! :yummy: Looking really good! Nice job with your set-up. Your plants look like they're in the peak of health and vigor. I can't wait to see the finish. :lurk:

me neither - but honestly most planst are really small and its uncertain the amount of harvest - the most important part though - is to pick out a few new moms :D

peace!

ok.. a bit anoying but crap happens - seems to be a light-leak in the area for the males or maybe its stress - but 2 males have suddenly gotten lots of female hairs. they are both of the same cross. the X18 x DC

i still got 3 more males - and later today im going to completelly re-do the grow-space for the males. got to make sure its light proof - if that was/is the problem.

all happy campers - positive vibes are important hehe - also really - it gets more easier for me - 5 males is too much.. i find the wellbeing of the PURE PTK more essencial for the breeding project. But still - would have been fun with the X18 x DC males..

peace all :D
