no problem gates3rd :D

well - the seeds i planted of our crosses the other day was;

Jaggen(jackflash)/SSH/PTK/PTK x SSH/PTK/SSH/LP - (jaggen is the elite jackflash)

Blockberry x SSH/PTK/SSH/LP - (xyz blockberry polinated by same males as above cross)

Jaggen x SSH/PTK/PTK - (gotto look for more males of this awesome cross)

Powerplant x SSH/LP - (all sativa... african, colombian and SSH)

SSH/PTK x beenimans - (the seeds i planted earlier in this spring look really good..so i plant more :D )

going to be fun to see how things go :D

peace!

the last days heat wave is infernal.. 40º in the shade.. but they say its getting a bit cooler for a while.. hope so :D

one good thing with the heat is it seems the seeds pop in turbo mode... the seeds i planted the other day have started sprouting.. same goes with the ssh/ptk x beeniemans i planted outside...

seems like its going to be a lot of seedlings again..well 30 or so is enough for the summer heat to be a hustle to keep well...

pèace all!!

i put in 4 beeniemans crosses into flowering.. 3 SSH/PTK x beeniemans.. they are small but since the beeniemans really get going under 12/12 its worth to see if these have same tendency.. sub tropical plants, dont really get too much of long days to veg under, so 12/!" cycle or slightly longer days than nights should get them to kick off...

also i put 2 other crosses to flower, SSH/PTK/SSH/LP and Jaggen x SSH/PTK/PTK

so darn hot here now... time to make an iced coffee

peace all!

of the last plants i put to flower, the crosses of SSH/PTK and the jamaican beeniemans choice, there is two confirmed males. i will see if they will be any good for using, this far it seems they are showing sex a little bit early. they smell and look nice for sure.. they are about 3 months old i think or something, but in the veg area with its 24H lights they didnt really grow too fast nor vigorously, but from the first days of 12, they took off properly.

i am going to select males this time for polinating once again the SSH/PTK, and or other plants like the JAGGEN (jackflash) that we got the last clone off flowering now. she is huge, and i know it takes it time, so it will be possible to polinate her also. also its left to see if any other plants will be ready and in suitable moment of flowering. it would be nice to cross with the eventual females of SSH/PTK x beeniemans, and blockberry/beeniemans. aslo its possible i might polinate the SSH/PTK x SSH/LP and the SSH/PTK x jaggen, both selected from out earlier rounds.. i got a few of them in flowering now..

peace all

im doing a small test with a new flowering booster from ATAMI - bloombastic .. let see if it does a difference or not... :D 15 euro per 100 ml is a bit hefty... lets see ....

"Atami has identified an ideal PK ratio of 0-20-21 European NPK (for USA is the NPK 0-14-15) for explosive fruit setting and powerful flowering. When you combine this ideal PK ratio with our optimal level of mineral and micro nutrients, it will absolutely upgrade the quality of harvest and increase your yield no matter what base nutrient you are using."

"Guaranteed Analyses
Available Phosphate (P2O5) 20%
Soluble Potash (K2O) 21%
Iron (Fe) 1.12%
1.12% Chelated Iron

Derived from:
Pottasium Phosphate, Pottasium Hydroxide, Phosforic acid, Iron EDTA, Laminara Digitata, Ascophyllum Nodosum
All natural based nutrient additive
Directions of Use
Directions for use: Bloombastic should be used in the final 4-6 weeks of the bloom and ripening stage of the plant growth. Mix your usual base nutrients (this product can be used with any brand of nutrient). Then add 1/3 to 3/4 tsp of Bloombastic per 1 US gallon of water (0.5 –1ml per 1000ml) in your reservoir. Bloombastic is suitable for all sorts of cultivation substrates (soil, hydro and coco) and all irrigation systems. "

:D :D

yeah we got some colaborations to do..

we have lots of work ahead... lots of seeds needs to get planted to go thru to find the best possible candidates in our seedlines to continue the quest..

B

bonecarver_OG

first of all we will do some work on the jamaican line.. later this winter comes the even more exciting part, when we need to grow out our other most interesting projects this far..

amongst others;
AH/SSH/PTK/PTK x SSH/PTK/SSH/LP
ssh/LP x SSH/PTKxSSH/LP
ssh/ptk x SSH/PTKxSSH/LP
JAGGEN/SSH/PTK/PTK x SSH/PTKxSSH/LP
SSH/PTKxSSH/LP f2

its time to do some back crossing, and also we will cross the best femals/males of the crosses to each other and also to continue some lines to next generation. only the best will make it into the selection..

soon im going to make a small update on the ssh/ptk x beeniemans and the blockberry x beeniemans... two very different plants this far.. also the males are very different...

on the ssh/beeniemans the PTK influence is BIG.. on the blockberry beeniemans, its more dificult to say wich parent would dominate atm, but its clear the female has a vigorous side branching, that reaches up to the top kola, in a very caracteristic way. compared to the FAR more columnar and thick stemmed ssh/ptk x beeniemans choice.

both crosses have inherited a slow growth in the veg area (24h lights) and a quick growth spurt when in 12/12 , because of the jamaican conditions.. these plants have been breed under more or less almost 12 hour days, and are flowered out various times during the year.

the jaimacans were very potent and had a strong aroma/flavour and since ouor ssh/ptk winner pheno is also a strong smelling and tasting baby, we are sure to get out something that will STINK in that cross.

the blockberry x beeniemans i dont know yet how it could turn out, but both parents are VERY resinous, and the blockberrys more generous bud size and kolas, should have added some positive things to the jamaican. also i hope for an enhanced flavour on the blockberry, that to my taste was on the mild side.

as soon as possible we will plant even more seeds of both lines and the F2's..

peace all

wha gwan, bone? Just caught up by reading the entire thread. Just great. It's really motivational, especially to see someone with such a positive attitude while still keeping it real with the difficulties of life.

Anyway, thanks for sharing your journey here. much appreciation and respect to you for doing Jah work!! Big up...

Also, I suspect I'm not the only one dying to get my hands on that beenieman's choice...it seems like the smoke is really something special. Now we know why he had to ask "who got the keys to my beema?" ..haha

B

bonecarver_OG

:D yeah the beeniemans are something special... we are eager to see how it worked in the crosses.. this far its looking good...

peace

hehe :D been to stoned the last 2 months :D cant remember when i put the big bushes into flower...

dont know what will be first, the powerplant or the ssh/ptk.. anyway the two next plants are enormous...hope just they will keep ok in the heat...

peace

im suddenly getting impressed by the looks of the powerplant.. it is not reacting bad at all to the heat.... seems like its going to be big kolas! :D

hi bonecarver
i see your using atami bloombastic as a trial, hope all goes well for you,ive just changed to ionic boost instead of canna boost (to expensive) the results so far are about identical and the ionic boost is only £7.50 per litre well worth thinking about imho.stay lucky

B

bonecarver_OG

yeah the canna boost is expensive!

im going to get more of the bloomblastic.. i think i liked the results this far, even though i only aplied it during one week. im having big healthy nugs, that look more compact than the normal summer nugs.. in the heat here (35º C), under the HPS the heat is extreme, and usually i count with lesser quality results during the few hotter months. but it seems like this time around its getting big, fairly compact and very resinous...

the bloomblastics 20-21 PK formula seems much more effective

im going to get an other bottle of the bloomblastic in a few days.. gotto continue to check it out..

----
honestly i think this time around the plants got MUCH bigger than i planned for... i have put the HPS as far up as possible, but still the 3 biggest plants have problems to fit under the HPS, even if they are diagonnaly/horizontally bent, and TIED down. one SSH/PTK might be biggest i ever harvested of that cut ever indoors. the powerplants look like they will yield well, but i dont know yet how solid the nugs will get. this far it does look TOP CLASS, and i think suddenly i found her sweet spot... and if she will continue to yield like this with the nute regime i thought out for her - im definetly going to keep her for a while more. its really nice with a cut that yields lots with little nutes..

i realize the PP i flowered out during the winter DID NOT turn out as good as it could have, mostly because of too much nutes, most of the flowering... this time around it looks alltogether as a different plant, with big fat nug, with lots of resin.

the most recent plants in the flowering room are quite small compared to the big monster trees, but hopefully i can spread them out better as soon as possible to increase the yields.. rigth now i got the most compact carpet of a screen-less scrog i ever had, but its dificult to controll the growth under the 3 HPS side by side. but anyway - it means some of the smaller plants are pushed into the spots that are left after the big monster plants. really i think i got 3 plants taking up 2/3rd of the flowering room and the rest is small plants..

anyway.. in about 3 weeks its vacation time again.. gotto start preparing the moms soon with transplants and such, to make sure they can handle 3 nights without watering...

hopefully the powerplant and the SSH/PTK monster plants are done before that :D :D gonna be nice with some nice nugs for the trip to the mountains..

peace all!

the first ssh/ptk x beeniemans choise female has started to flower. she has grown 4-5 x her size since she went into flowering. the side branches are thick and have grown up to almsot the same height as the top.

the block berry X beeniemans has not started to flower yet.

the powerplants are building up nicelly.. its going to be very nice nugs... lots of resin allready, and the calyx look almost fluffy from the tall resin glands.. its going to be a feast to test smoke it when its time! :D looks sugar coated,..

peace all!! :D

the SSH/ptk x beeniemans male is getting soon ready to drop a load of pollen :D maxd 1-2 weeks left :D :D
the powerplants in flowering are doing so nice ... they are impressing me this far :D and that does say alot...

the SSH/PTK that will be polinated by the SSH/ptkxbeeniemans male is getting very nice kolas and only dusting one of them will most likelly be enough for 100's of seeds..

transplanted lots of seedlings yesterday both at my and vends place. we are up for a nice test run with fresh crosses to try out!! :D

peace all
