haha sounds like you got lots of work ahead of you.

great that you also got rid of the pm, finding my top 44 much nicer to smoke this round without the pm. seems they got riper too.

don't let him fool ya Vend, he's looking for a slave lol :)

WOOOW
the last 2 weeks i been so damn stoned i cant believe it...

amazing what a really good harvest does for once :d
2 plants - 350 grams :D 1800W kicks ass :D

also the veggie garden is going insanelly well. we actuaklly had rains so its going almost too good. the temps here allready reach over 30º and when it rains it gets almost like walking into a wall..

the rains have reviwed the vegetacion around the outdoor spot im planning to use, but judging from my vegies i feel its too early yet to take a plant out.. it would grow too big for this place...

grats glad you got some nice yields off those 2 plants. better yet some strong smoke :joint:

i didn't do very well last time with my top44, i got only about 900g from 90 plants. plus another 200g from the 5 plants from my home made seeds sdxcj, now if only i'd filled the table with the sdxcj. if they survive re vegging i will fill the new 2 lamp box with them, else i have to pop more seeds and hope i get the same phenos again.

was out looking for outdoor spots today, found 3 places that have potential. got them gps'ed, now i need to look about making some cages to protect them while they are young. gonna be a fun season even if i don't end up harvesting anything, i'm sure it will be a real learning experience.

whats a good powdered fert i can sprinkle on the ground around the plant for untreated forest soil, any ideas?

i would use any long release gardening pellets. i have used it before and it worked, although after a month or two the nutes are pretty much used up.

i thought about if id do an other guerilla up in the hills, to dig down pockets of pellets around the plants, as long as the little pocket is not too close to the roots there shouldnt be burns, but still it should allove for more nutes to release for a longer time.

anyway i think its too hot this year to go up and start digging :D hehe

1800W is lots of fun...

havent had this much nugs for a looong while :D

as usually the veg area is getting overgrown... but we hope to fix that as soon as possible, if we find a house or not...

finally i gotto to cut down the camouflage i hope to hide plants in for my outdoor guerilla, but its no point anymore with the heat... the plants will stick out like a sore thumb... also there was a quite a nasty tick invasion on the go if i didnt get the bushes cut.. so for this time it has to be it seems... unless something nes turns out :D

meanwhile my veggie garden is going insanelly well... best way of recycling old coco...

lots of veggies everyday and we are just entering summer :D

so while i snakc on my cherry tomatoes i smoke fat spliffss... wwhat more can i ask for! :D

peace all! :D

one of the plants to get harvested soon is not a ssh/ptk as i thought, but actually a chronic, and this time with fatter nugs than ever. i have to have most plants staked up with poles, but this one literally folds over if i take the suport away. the stems can not handle the nug size...

the two ssh/ptk's are also looking really fat and i know this coming harvest will also be big.. maybe around 400-500g from 3 plants.

cant wait to harvest and get a new few fems into the flowering area.... i need space in the veg department...

peace all! :D

good to hear you are expecting another nice harvesting trim session :joint:

you working with trees it seems, with those kind of yields per plant. have also decided to let my plants get a bit bigger then what i normally do, in the new setup i'm making. that's why my new table will be much lower then normal, probably just 30 cm high, just enough to fit a good sized tank under there.

enjoy those veggies :joint:

i thought for a few years that i prefeer the harvests from fewer big plants, than many smaler, mainly due to the nug size increase, and mostly since i dont griow really for yields, i grow for nugs to smoke formy self. the denser and more solid the nugs the happier i am, so i pistol whip the heck out iof those trees, to make sure i dont have any growth below the canopy, also i do have the lights very close to the plants, since i dont care if i get some light bleached leafs, as long as the whole plants productive area is as close as possible to the lights.

id say in a room of the size i use bigger yields are possible but i grow for dense nug, so i prefeer to have breathing space around plants, also for controlling humidity its a great help :D

i think i will seriously look into NOT planting 100`s of seeds in one go, nor make too many clones neither, so that i get rid of the stressfull need of flowering sea of greens, with all the problems they involve. i only do it when i have too many plants and the veg area is about the explode of all plants, to quickly get fewer plants.

i dont think this method is superior or anything, its just what i found works best for my needs :D

im sure for coemrcial growing it must be more worthile to veg less and flower more nr of plants. more effective it seems.

but for my own use i dont mind vegging a plant for 6-7 months and then cut down all branches besides the top 4-6, and bend the hell out of it to get the plant flat out under the lights. it definetly isnt effective in questions of time and such, but continuously i get more than enough to smoke when things are working normal.

anyway :D im stoned as a bat... i got so much side projects rigth now i get hardly time to post anything, but summer is here and there is lots to do :d

peace all! ;:D

a few days ago i harvested 2 nice ssh/ptk's.. quite big actually, gotto wait a few days more to be able to say dry weight, but it looks like about 200-300 g or so.

very soon i gotto harvest 2 chronics, and one of them is honestly VERY frosty and chunky :D

im really buzy with work in and around the house, but ill really will try to post pics soon :D

we finally managed to sort out a house for vend, where me will be able to do sort of an outdoor grow and definetly a nice indoor. the place is huge. lots of rooms and so on :D and funniest thing is its only a stones throw away, so now we can colalborate even more than before with the breeding project.

i gotto take clones of the jaggen ASAP, its huge and needs to get flowered.

my veggie garden is going too well.. im allready giving away veggies, and most of the varieties arent even started yet. i think i over did it a little bit - but its so much fun!

its awesome to pic veggies each day :D i really like it and for next year i will expand the area even more.

peace all! :D

same here, that popcorn leecher rag has to go on all my plants, i also, like you.. like to grow my plants to some size because of the density and size of the buds.

Its also pretty cool to always have the biggest buds among my friends hehehehe.

dont get sun-burned now in the heat guys ;) hf in the sun, peace guys

hi all :D

its hot as hell here and unusually much rain :D but i9m getting prepared for the rains, since i have latelly gotten together several 1000 liter tanks that i will use for storing rain water and water from the air condition. this means hopefully that i wont need ever again (with luck) to buy distilled water :D wich is very expensive :D

latelly i have been working on a new sound-system... beeing a wood worker and sound engineer, this is not too complicated, as long as the rigth tools are used :D anyway im the biggest reggae and drum and bass lover in the region and since im not much for going out to listen to crappy music, i have to re-make the oldschool drum and bass and reggae/dub soundsystems i used to go to back in the days in UK.. (respect to roots garden, aba shanti-i and such)... well for one great difference, beeing a slight audiophile, i will stay far away from the crappy part of the sound i was used to back then.. instead im going for as clean and stompy sound as possible..

so im in the middle of putting together 5 sealed subs with 12" woofers for my small studio/listening room, accompanied by my monitors of a nice brand.. something to look forward to to enjoy nice spliffs and music :D

peace all!

Hey Bones, didn`t know you were a sound engineer and a reggae dub nut! I do some sound engineering myself, live music though, when I`m not out gigging myself. Big reggae dub nut myself though along with old school hip hop, flowing heavy bass grooves is what makes me move, and you`ll know what I mean by "makes me move" eh? :)

I haven`t seen you noseying around my garden for a long time, you got too busy with all the mod`ing dude?

I`ve got things going pretty well in there this time around, 3 different strains and lots of very frosty buds and its bud porn time in the grow diary.

I wanted to run something by you Bones if you`d be so good. I`m coming up to flush and considering molasses for some sugars and carbs up until the very last few days. I`m using 1 tablespoon per gal/4ltrs and the meter is reading ec0.7. Do you think that`s a bit heavy for the initial flush period mate? I knpw some people here use upto 2 tablespoons per gal during flush, but I was just thinking in terms of ec values and it made me question things, and I know you know your shit when it comes to coco and molasses.

Cheers, Toke:)

Ps good luck with the sound system dude!:rtfo:

hehe nah man im not too buzy :D its rather the fact we are in summer, and i got a fairly big piece of garden and veggie plot to look after. at the same time im finally fixing up the landscàping thats left :D so in other words im sweating like a mofo in the 80% humidity and 30ºC heat :D

summer is for beeing outdoors :D hehe

i studied sound engineering but i never worked with it profesionally :D it is though some really nice knowledge to have, specially for a music-lover :D

thanks for the good luck :D i got pretty much everything done, just missing the amps and woofers. soon i got em and then this house is gonna be shaking it :D i almost feel sorry for the neighbours. ;)

i wouldnt use molasses in the flush - not any point in my opinion to ad more nutes and energy at that stage :D

hey Bonecarver, good to see you around again man. was just catching up on your last posts. you are very lucky to have a garden where you can grow your own food. monsanto is getting their fingers into nearly all food seeds. yeah i hear ya on yields, there are more important aspects. funnily enough my new planned set up involves growing slightly bigger plants too and less numbers.

good news about Vends house. give him my greetings. will be interesting to see what you guys get up to.

Much obliged Bones, that`s what was worrying me as I want them to finish off losing their colour as they ripen.

Great to hear your enjoying life dude, gardening, sound system to shake yer place down, and the sun of course, you sound like you`ve really got it sussed.

We`ve got it warm in the uk at the mo, but its not anywhere near as relentless as it is in your parts, its a wee bit too hot in my room, having to think about cooled hoods next time around. Sure fooking glad I aint got 80% humidity to contend with tho, dunno how I`d cope with that.

Toke:)

gaius marius - yeah man its awesome to have a space to grow veggies and such :D i will amplify it during the coming winter, since for next year i want to increase the size and the number of varieties grown.

but one thing is for sure - cherry tomatoes is a pain in the ass! about 500 of them mature and ready to pick every 2 days - it takes hours! and on top there is a darn wasp-nest just above them :D its huge bushes, allready far above 2 m tall...

been stung at two occasions :D last time today! :D thats why im taking a break now... the bastards are a bit nervous atm.. better water the pumpkins plants later....

tokesome - my honest opinin when it comes to cooled hoods is that i think its far more effective to have a normal open reflector and a big ass fan pointed rigth at the light/plant tips. much more effective with direct cooling imho, atleast when it comes to the fact i can have rigth now my 1800W only a few inches above the tips.

peace :D
