OOO, looking good herb!! THat was one thing I really really wanted in my grows..... to see the plant change color.. never got a color changing strain; not to mention I did not have an air conditioner to keep colder temps at night either...... but was hoping one of them would change without the temps..... it happens :)

this grow is in a basement, so the temps are pretty stable and cool

this is my first color changing strain as well... hope it cures purp too

76 both lights on
the ambient temp in the basement is roughly 65.

its unclear to me if it gets down to 65 in the room when the lights are off.. prolly damn close if not

i dunno they just dont seem super healthy... not very dark green. thats how the problems usually start. not so green-->spots-->dead leaves--> world of trouble in flower

Wth, dude that is a perfect green! You do not want them too dark...... too dark depending on if it's strain related or not could be over fert issues.... like nitrogen.

omg dude, you are being way paranoid; and I am sure others will agree. Do not be so hard on yourself man you should be proud, seriously dude.. some people do not even get to harvest A PLANT... you got yourself some very nice ladies man; very sticky on trichs too. Trust me man when I see a healthy plant I know one!

The only thing I see wrong is left over damage from over ferting... thats it; you can't do anything about that the damage is done to the leaves it affected.... but dude the plant looks gorgeous look at all the new green above the damage... it's not burned and the rest of the burning stopped... so be proud :)

So do not be so hard on yourself man

haha ok thanks, words of encouragement is all i need. ill continue to update this thread with pics to make sure they are staying on track.

im still a bit confused on when i should water just regular water and how often i should feed since its take them 7 days to dry out. people say feed once a week, but in my case that would be feeding EVERY watering

i dont want them to go yellow like the others did so early from just watering with no food

comments?

How much are you watering them? Each one.... well lets say the ones in the bottom pic the 5 of them....

Do you lift the bags when they are dry and when they are watered? How do you judge they need water?

i use all my senses to judge when its time to water

i lift the bag
i have a moisture meter
and i use touch/sight

i wait till its mostly dry before i water. which takes about 7 days. Of course that time will get shorter as the roots fill in the bag. but its getting cold here so the temps in the flower room are no higher than 78 with both lights on. i have the humidity low around 30% which is great.

i water enough that a small amount leaks out the bottom, usually under a gallon per 5 gallon bag.

timeline:

i fed them a week before i transplanted and put them into flower
once they dried out i TP'd them into the 5 gallon grow bags and fed them a light grow formula
they have not dried out again for another watering its been 6 days since they were watered. prolly last till day 8 maybe even 9 or 10

my question to you, do i just water them plain water next watering? enough till it runs out?

(remember i use extremely filtered water)

or do i give their first hit of bloom fert

bump, will be seeing them today

need to know what to do, from what ive read over the past few days, hit them with grow formula once more

What I would do is feed every 2 waterings and 3rd watering just plain water feeding every watering considering you are watering every 7 days they need plain water to wash out salts, so I would just give them water for now and then next 2 waterings use ferts and the 3rd watering use water.

Flushing is when you pour a lot of water to remove excess salts after your soil is to hot or you fed them to much....; you are just watering them the same amount you would as if you were feeding them, just without the nutrients. Salts can buildup slowly or quickly depending on the amount of nutrients in the soil. You are not burning them you are feeding; left over salts are always going to be in the soil that the plant does not use. Regular waterings in between feedings is nearly a must to wash out any unused nutrients in the soil.
But yours is different, your the first person who I heard who has gone that long between waterings.... so in your case you are either going to have to water in between feedings or skip a feeding....... Your plants are not going to starve, that is why I told you to feed weekly then after you fed them 2 times 3rd time water them.
You are using plenty of nutrients to where they will not have issues.
How much water are you watering them?

Now unless you are using 3 gallons of water to water them that would be different lol But you are not; so you do not have to worry about them going hungry with skipping one feeding to water. You use plenty nutrients.

You have flushing confused with regular watering.........

You are giving them like 8 ml per gallon right? g row bloom?

didnt mean flush, sorry. regular water. i gotcha.

ok that will put them at least day 17 once they are dry from regular water. how much bloom should i hit them with at that point?

What soil mixture are you using now that you transplanted 10 days ago?
It depends on the soil; if it's good strong soil I would not feed them yet.
