Oh! That's a good idea! Tell her you ”saw ” some mice in there.that might change things a little.I'm not suggesting you lie to your wife but It might be a good idea

Alright.now that I'm sober I can see what the deal is.I take it your not growing because of the wife? If that's the case tell this asshole you will call the cops if he keeps doing it.I would never call the cops under most circumstances but tell him that and he will probably even remove that crap against your house himself.if I understand this situation right, which I have no clue if I do, he his committing a misdemeanor crime, and if there are damages to your house because of it exceeding 500 dollars or more then that is called criminal damage to property which is a felony.I know.been there.done that.

I'm sorry to be blunt but I just thought that if my neighbors did that I would be furious. next time you see him tell him he caused damage to your siding and you will call the cops for crimal damage and when he gets out you will take him to civil court to pay for the damage he caused to your house.I guarantee that it will end there.whew sorry once again to be blunt but its actually what most people would do.I watch court shows all the time.good luck

I wasn't suggesting to actually call the cops but if your not growing tell them he is committing a crime that he may be fined or face jail time if it continues.I don't really see the issue.I'm sorry.I don't have a wife or kids so maybe its harder for me to understand but what's the wife's issue with this? I'm curious now in case I ever have this issue.I understand if its none of my business. I'm just inquisitive. sorry

Hi guys - thanks so much to all of you (even my stalker) for your kind consideration. It's been a, uh, trying time.

I haven't seen a key yet, but the area is clear, the neighbour has apparently spoken to Mrs couple times and seems stupidly apologetic, like the previous conversations hadn't actually clicked. The owner has told him about keeping stuff away from my house, to move his garbage cans from outside my basement window (yeah, another thing I'd asked - fucking guy had his garbage can sitting in front of / blocking the window, on my property).

I told Mrs if she'd decided to go slugger on neighbour, I'd have been behind her with spare bats - her not having my back was pretty low.

Still not really talking.

Glad to hear it's semi- sorted, try not to let this prick affect your domestic life- he ain't worth it.
Remember , it's the missus job to hold you back sometimes :)

Yes, you might seem angry at the wife, but that's her job. My wife unfortunately has to perform at a very high level with this job and me.

Seems like things are working themselves out slowly. Remember the important things, and be grateful for what you have. Don't let this take over your thoughts/life. Take it easy brother.

Happy to read that your conflict has been resolved with the neighbor OT.

Sound like ya have more important things to deal with anyway & this was just a side track. Good luck.

Don't threaten the guy or do anything that puts you in a bad light. Document the junk he piles against your house with pictures.

Drop $500 on a lawyer to draw up a cease and desist and deliver it to his landlord via certified mail so you know the landlord got it. It is on the landlord to correct the situation. The threat of legal action should be enough to get the landlord off his ass. When the tenant becomes a problem for the landlord, you have the upper hand.

Don't bust up your knuckles on a chuckle head, or get yourself arrested for threatening to stomp his ass.

Better to drop $500 on a lawyer to handle it than $5000 on bail and more money on court fees and even more on a defense lawyer.
