Aerated Compost Tea

Mix in the Actinovate after the ACT is prepared and ready to use before spraying or watering. Not sure if you can use compost tea with an atomizer, though. Probably not. A good EWC ACT will discourage pests as a root drench also, and you can use the actinovate/act as a root drench @ 5 teaspoons per 10 gallons of non-chlorinated water every 7-14 days.

You can use neem up to 2 weeks before harvest. It keeps PM away. Knocks it down almost instantly.

I don't have PM. You do. Something to think about.

To each their own though. :)

nice that sounds like a good recipe ^ but ya 1 tablespoon does seem like a lot. That stuff is expensive.

Not to hijack either but I have a couple questions and experiences too..

There are forum reports that Serenade is better for PM and Actinovate better for botrytis.
Serenade is around $11 for a ready to spray liter.

Soon after transplant outdoors, before the plants really took hold, I had several dime-sized patches of early season PM and went right to Serenade and greencure.
I also began using agsil/Ca/Neem spray around the same time, and harpin protein spray (3x so far this season).
The plants keep getting bigger and healthier and no signs of PM in over 6 weeks. Just added Actinovate to the mix for bud rot prevention.

I like what I'm reading here about the low doses of greencure being effective, esp. if it can prevent pistil burn, because that shit is ugly.

I'm surrounded by fungusy trees and mold berry bushes. Lost a lot to mold last year. So another thing I did was tent the plants w a mini-greenhouse for a day, then sprayed a strong mix of Eagle20 and GC on nearby mold-prone berry bushes with a pump sprayer.

Question Who can speak about the compatibility of bio products like serenade and actinovate when used with greencure. If GC kills mold spores, what does it do to the bacteria?

As in BT spray i use, Monterey Garden Insect Spray and Safer caterpillar killer combined in my atomizer. Would all 3 be to much? Thanks again everyone, its much appreciated

I would alternate between the spino and bt. Bt is more of a target control as spinosad is wide range. Switching it up prevents any resilience.

I thought spinosad protected for 4 weeks and weren't suppose to use it past week 4? Otherwise your smoking spinosad?

UV breaks Spinosad down. It is usually gone within a few days. depending how bright the sun.

Use it up to week of harvest.

Always read the pre-harvest interval on anything you spray.

Don't take the interwebs word for it.

Unless you are using it on a Federally illegal crop. In which case, Cannabis is not listed as a crop to use the product on. So; pests controlled, maximum applications per year, minimum application days to wait before reapplying, and minimum days to wait from application to harvest will not be included in any Directions for Use.

It will be listed on the label for "legal crops". That is what you should go off of.

"Fuck it! It's illegal. I don't care what the label says".

That seems smart.

Many a fine given in Colorado for using Eagle 20 on a Federally illegal crop. Labels do matter. Even to the Colorado MED. :)

Talking SPINOSAD here. There are several hundred different "legal crops" listed on, using 25 different parameters.

Which one you going to use, "That seems smart"

Who said "fuck it! It's illegal I don't care what the label says" ?

The safest stuff to use is Trichoderma, up until 3 weeks before harvest

A spray every 3 weeks has prevented bud rot which used to take 10 to 30% of denser buds

It's also totally natural and feeds on any fungus, hence the need to repeat

Last night i applied BT cause its been a week without it. Im gonna use the Actinovate next I dont have PM, but i want to use as a preventive, how should i apply it for its first dosage? Foliar or root drench? I have a few plants that are getting a light yellowish look to it my buddy said to do a root drench with the stuff he says i might have some kind of root fungus maybe and should help green em up? Also in the forecast it might rain in a few days and i have some pretty good size budz already.... Thanks

You can do a root drench, not a problem. I go 3 tablespoons of Actinovate for 25 gallons of water.

You may want to look into making a compost tea with some insect frass in it for the yellowing plants.
