The last encounter was maybe a year ago in Hermosa Beach. lol Bro capital of the Beaches. lol They seem to congregate there from other cities and will try and start fights with everyone and anyone. People have sex in the urinals at Sharkey's over there. It is a low site to behold. Stay away from Hermosa Beach unless you want to get a kick out of it or head up to the streets above Hermosa Avenue to avoid the worst of it. lol Its a shame its such a beautiful pier spot with lots of resturaunts. I don't even see alot of the same locals that used to park their dogs ontop of these big stones. It was really cool.

Later the same week about a year back when i turned 21 we headed to Long Beach to the Yard House at the Pike in Rainbow harbor. Definitely one of my favorite places in LA. If youve been there you know its a sweet spot. It was the LB Grand Prix when we went which was sweet but there are soo many drunken brawls. I was just walking with 3 of my friends toward the Yardhouse when suddenly some dude who looked like Travis Barker if he gangbanged came out of nowhere with the look of rage within his eye he veered straight towards me and gave a shove to power through me haha. We just stopped and i stared at him as an old couple was very frightened as it happened in broad daylight 3 feet from an elderly couple lol. We didn't bother doing anything because most gangbangers down there have straps and knives and it could have gotten worse. I think he saw my leafly shirt and thought it was the periodic table of elements. He probs thought "A nerd! Im go try and slam em!" lol

Ive been to many bars since but i haven't been to anywhere popular to best avoid these incidents. Its always prejudice people or maybe racist people. Ive never had one of these random incidents with people other than white people. It has nothing to do with white people but it has everything to do with those assholes who embrace prejudice who are the "Bros of Hermosa" (Usually a bunch of over privileged, power tripping jocks) Theres actually a hilarious mocumentary about the bros of hermosa on youtube. A few people from my old high school made the video for some college class lol unfortunately the video takes the real issues lightly. Im the kinda guy who got picked on his whole life for having long hair and ill do whatever i want because being cool shouldn't be about what others think. Its just a shame that if you don't conform around here you become a target. No individuality around here. You just get assholes on the street, who wont do favors for eachother and usually their only form of justification "It's LA!" lol for fucks sake so many people stoop soo low. Thats not the la i live in or want it to be. Damn brainwashed Even if you try n be nice to people you think are respectful you get stiffed. Ive given maybe a few hundred cuttings away, and you know what i got in return? Nothing. Except for one good friend. And he is a really special dude who is the kind of guy feels he has a definite mission in life. People out here are usually cold af but gotta keep the guys who will help make the difference close.

hey guy, welcome to my bullshit thread couple of people have hit me up in pms about having my own thread so here goes. i am currently not growing just enjoying the buds from the Gp harvest. everyone tells me i have a unique way of re-telling my days activities, i guess im pretty funny i am in the process of drastically changing my life for the better i hope. i have a few more hurdles to overcome but its starting to look like my plans are falling into place. i am very happy as i type this because today was a good day i will go into details as they develop but Porkie is happy as a pig in a blanket? i gotta go to the dentist and see if he can fix the broken tooth i got last night, all i gotta say is some dudes knuckles have bits of my tooth still. long story for another time but a good one, even got the pics for you BGB

Ah maybe cut knuckles but pieces of girth likely not. I've busted more than a few of other people's teeth but I'm careful I learned once you don't want to get cut so avoid people's mouths. Jaws do the trick better anyway that glass jaw shit it wild... more people drop than you would think.

I don't think it's wrong for people who aren't growing at present to post on grow forums I do think it's lame when people who never grew post on forums go post on a forum you gave subject related experience. There's a couple people on here that just smoke and don't grow and if they want to learn cool as long as they aren't offering grow advice.

hey COCO no it was some drunk college kid who thought I bumped him. I am currently growing just haven't gone to posting yet. I have 6 strains currently rooting right now ready to go into containers. I am not posting because I got these clones from someone and I have yet to verify the genetics and I hate to start a thread with strain names just to find out I mislead people. I am a Massachusetts mmj patient and haven't really found any source of cuts that I trust as of yet but am really looking hard. east coast growers are doing justice, a lot of primo stuff floating thru recently!

I wih man! This is our first El Nino year in a long time! we got fucked! Also there is a simultaneus drought! Norcal lost 1/3 of its pot due to wild fires this year and down south where im at weve been having humid weather for months then 3 days out of the week its 100. I lost half my crop to pathogen infection due to the environmental factors as well as Budworms!!!!! so many budworms! Everyone in cali is saying its been the worst outdoor year in a while for budworms and humidity. i lost about 2lbs or more. I got a 20gallon container filled with weed thats composting. Luckily i still have some herb. 2 plants stand unaffected from budworms. If i'm lucky ill pull a half p off each plant, and there are 3 more plants with what looks like just a zip left because the budworms got to the rest and i had to cut it all off.
I just started a new indoor grow with these brand new LEDs by Nextlight since El Nino is about to hit hard in winter. They are one of 3 brands that are sopposed to be real replacements for 1000 watt hid systems. It mimics the hps spectrum perfectly and is brighter. Shoots straight down because they use diodes instead of bulbs! only half the wattage 500 a piece and people are pulling 1lb per lamp so most growers are getting a gram per watt. As far as im convinced this may be one of the first led fixtures that has the same badass output as hids but with half the electricity and 1/3 the heat. It exhausts pretty hot but still not as hot as 1000 watt hids Im going to post some photos or videos of it soon in a thread. Maybe it will change some of the haters minds about led lighting! Have u messed around with leds? Whats ur opinion with led lamps?

Good on ya man! Strain lineage can become so muddled. I have many versions of strains i grow. I enjoy alot of them but i it needs to be specified that they are not representations of the real deal or original strains.

I never tried led, due to the upfront cost. I would use them if I got them free but not able to afford it currently. I hear from local growers that love them and wont use anything else. Im sorry to hear about the wildfires, my heart goes out to anyone who lost their lives or homes

The nice thing is that growing from seedpacks you may get a different cut up there that none of us can get here Sometimes i think it creates alot of confusion with clones strains. Random examples Chernobyl, tanagie, etc. Everyone is wondering if they got the real one, and they probably do even though they have different variants. Once more people are growing in ur area i bet u will c a serious influx of fiya!
Tangie maybe wasn't the best example because that strains is actually mixed up alot with tangerine dream because barneys version was made to mimic the real deal tangie crocket had in the 90s. and also "Tang" from colorado, but i gave the examples because the way the progeny come out from those two strains Tangie and CHernobyl. They come out with several known phenos in the packs. Its likely if people in ur area get seed packs maybe they will find the same phenos of strains we have here and keep cloned. Of course some rarer strains are clone only and there may not be beans or the same pheno or chemotype around though. But there is hope for the real dealz never the less
