Glad to hear it is going well!! The biggest thing you have to do now, is AT ALL COSTS...stay away from ANYBODY who is using or has access!!
Surround yourself with loved ones...tell them EVERYTHING...no secrets!! If you feel like using, tell someone...stay busy bro!! :tiphat:

Hang in there brotha. Recoveries a living nightmare, but if you can find the strength and recognize that the love from your loved ones is truly genuine; You will make it. I'll grow a plant for your health.

Hey Hb,

You can kick the habit.... I once was addicted to DXM cough medicine didnt even know that I was addicted. Long story short ended up in a mental hospital and got clean there and havent touched it since. At least You know that you are an addicted. Wish you the best of luck. Why did start doing it again?

I've been down a similar road of self-recovery with a similar substance years ago. Keep ya head up and keep pressin on, brutha. It can be a rough road, but like others have said you know it gets easier as you get more and more sober road behind you. Best wishes on a continued recovery!

Totally agree with Sundance,I read your post and it really touched me as i could feel you writing those words,to even put that post on here was very Brave.Sometimes you have toh it rock bottom to get up again brush youself down and start the rebuilding process after the healing process, youre not a quitter i can tell this by your post, Im sure your family are very worried,You really have cracked the hard part and things will only get better,"each day you dont take the stuff, each day you will become stronger"Remember what your dealing with is an illness and most illnesesare very curable God grant me the serenity to accept the things i cannot change, the courage to change the things i can,and the wisdom to know the difference. Your so lucky to have a strong family around you to help you my thoughts are with you Peace man

If you haven't already....I highly recommend finding some NA/AA meetings in your area and get a sponsor....attend daily and just listen....get a big book and read it. If you can't afford one let me know and I'll happily send you one.

Take care.
Very kind generous words, its words like yours that puts a bit more faith in me bout the human race,Peace Man
